Any economics or accountants here? Income tax unconstitutional?

I randomly watch some documentaries and lately I have been watching Zeitgeist.  Not sure if anyone here has watched it before, its just a video that addresses some conspiracy theories out there and one of them is Income Tax.  Basically states that its unconstitutional and there is no exact law that says you have to pay it.  I enjoy reading and watching videos about this stuff, so if anyone has some other topics to bring up, throw em out there.  Here is an interesting write-up that explains it much better    http://www.rense.com/general69/lfc.htm

Also, I don't view this as politics as long as we keep political parties and specific names out of it.

Thanks captain obvious, I pointed on my opinion on that and considering a mod is posting in here, im guessing they agreed with me.

Talking politics would be more like: "I think Hillary's tax policies are [insert opinion here]." Asking someone about their religious holidays isn't the same as getting into an argument about religion. In the same way that asking a non-partisan question about government isn't the same as talking about politics.

As long as no one starts spouting off about the morality, etc. of the tax system, we're fine.  An academic discussion of whether or not it is constitutional is permitted.  The minute this goes downhill, warnings will be issued and so forth.

I was actually thinking about turning lead into gold, got my metals mixed up. But that kind of mentality's been around for as long as currency in general has, and stuff like that Zeitgeist video is just an extension of it.
