Michael Phelps Statue Inner Harbor

Michael Phelps deserves a statue erected at the Inner Harbor, between the two pavilions. The world stands and salutes Michael Phelps; let's celebrate him in a first class way. Baltimore will be a better place with Michael Phelps in the heart of downtown, where people will come year round to celebrate.  Baltimore fans may soon begin to chant two letters during the Star Spangled Banner not just "O", but "OP"!

I Beg to differ. Michael Phelps deserves a statue at where Ravens walk is. The camden sports complex has statues all over. You walk from camden yards see all those baseball greats. Then you walk over Ravens stadium and see Unitas and Ray Lewis statues. Michael Phelps statue belongs just before you go under the bridge at Ravens walk. The camden complex is a tourist attraction as it should be. Russell Street should be renamed Michael Phelps way. And Hamberg Street should be renamed Ray Lewis Drive.
