What pick did you end up with, how many teams? Im guessing you went Julio 1 and Marshall 2?

I like it. I'm using a similar strategy in my league this year. My favorite mfl teams are 0 RB. Thomas and gates at TE is great too .

I like Bortles and your WRs. I think Bortles will be in the top 10 in terms of fantasy points for quarterbacks. Maybe better than that. I think he might have a career season. Evans, Marshall, Jones easily WR1.

The RBs and TEs seem a little shaky to me. Gates should get some production, but may be inconsistent week to week. Im not even sure how Thomas has fared since he left Denver. Havent kept up.

Then you know how the Ravens RB situation is. West and Dixon will knock some carries away from Forsett. Langford will probably go as far as Cutler can take them. They need a strong pass game to open up the run. With Kevin White coming back, Langford may be in line for a productive season.

I like Derrick Henry too and Sammie Coates. You have a nice bench. Maybe not superstars, but guys that can win you games if needed.

I love the Doug Baldwin pick. He showed he is clearly the best receiving option in Seattle. He's made some spectacular catches and he's really gaining the trust of Russell Wilson. His production should be even better this year due to Marshawn Lynch not getting 20 touches a game. In one of my leagues I'm actually rolling with him as my WR1.

My concern with Baldwin is much of his fantasy value in 2015 was due to TDs. After one bad season with Jimmy Graham, I can't imagine the Seahawks are giving up on him. I fully expect for him to have some measure of improvement in his production this year, which will likely take some targets and more importantly TDs away from Baldwin. And while Lynch's absence is a potential factor, I don't see the Seahawks shying away from giving the ball to Rawls. In the last 4 games in which he was the starter, he had over 20 touches per game.

However, since he's listed as a bench player on this  Purple Punishment's roster, that's a heck of a bench option.

Is this a 10 team league? If it is 12, you did really well.

Your WRs are off the charts, but you definitely went light on the RBs. You can't afford any losses there due to injury or performance without having serious issues. I'd suggest keeping a sharp eye to the waiver wire early and grab some help in the RB department as circumstances change.

I think Bortles is one of the better value picks in fantasy this year. People seem to be ignoring his numbers and looking at JAX's team record to downgrade him. That is of course absolutely meaningless in the fantasy game, but it still clouds people's judgement. Mike Evans can easily be a top 10 WR, if he finds the end zone a bit more this year. His drop from 12 TDs in his rookie season to 3 last year is a bizarre anomaly that I think will even out in 2016.

Seems pretty good, but would better if it's a PPR league.

These are valid concerns. The thing about Rawls is he is "still shaking off some rust" after his injury last year. I still see Baldwin as the top recieving option over Jimmy Graham, and Russell seemed to trust Baldwin much more too.

No doubt, Baldwin will still be the Seahawks #1 option. I'm just not sure he's going to be able to match last year's production.

Rawls is intriguing. For many players, i don't put a lot of stock in the pre-season, but he is an exception, I'm going to want to see him play and look close to 100% at some point in the preseason before I set his position on my board. If he can match what he did in his substitution role and play for the better part of a season, he's going to be valuable, but I need him to prove that he's ready to go or I'm going to be cautious.

Wow, Jimmy Graham?  There is no point I would touch him in a draft.  You realize he has the same injury as Victor Cruz and already has a secondary injury trying to return.  It's the worst injury you can have.  There is another Seahawk that could really break out not mentioned here.

Wow? I didn't realize it was that crazy of a notion that Graham could return and be a somewhat significant contributor. Maybe he's ruined ... I know it was a serious injury but I didn't realize it was a foregone conclusion that his career was toast. If he can return to even 1/2 of what he once was, he'll be worth something.

Perhaps you could enlighten us on the breakout Seahawk. If it is Christine Michael, as ludy51 suggests, it will be yet another year of Michael waiting in the shadows to step up over the person in front of him and become a fantasy star. It is something we've yet to see, but maybe this is the year the fantasy flier hype that always surrounds this guy will come to fruition.

Graham may return in another year or two. I would be very surprised if he's a factor this year. Not Michael. Lol. Lockett is the sleeper

I'll be posting another team tomorrow! Two drafts back to back.

QB Phillip Rivers

HB Danny Woodhead, Giovanni Bernard, Abdullah, Christine Michael

WR Alshon Jeffery, Julio Jones, Jordy Nelson, Vincent Jackson, Maclin, Diggs, Doctson, Shephard

TE Jordan Reed

I do not like my running backs. Lol who should I use as trade bait?

Inthink you had a great draft and I like your rbs a lot especially if this is a ppr.

It would be a big mistake to trade one of those wr right now you have an advantage at the position. I assume you can start 3-4 wr?  You have 3 RB that can be great ppr players.

Yup! Can start 4 WR. Plus I got Jordan Reed at TE. I like Woodhead as PPR. Not sure about Bernard. Haven't kept up with him or Abdullah

That's a really short bench if that's your whole team. Bernard basically splits time with Hill but he gets all the recieving work. I think more of Riddicks receptions will go toward Abdullah. I think he will end up the starter.

Looking for some feedback, I know my RBs are iffy... 10 person league, PPR format

QB - Aaron Rodgers

WR - Antonio Brown

WR - Jordy Nelson

RB - Carlos Hyde

RB - Ameer Abdullah

TE - Zach Ertz

WR/RB/TE Flex - Jarvis Landry

K - Justin Tucker

DST - ARZ Cardinals

Bench - QB Dak Prescott, RB Jeremy Langford, RB James White, RB Christine Michael, WR Marvin Jones, WR Mike Wallace

Really like the potential of my bench, too, especially Langford. Still, potential doesn't score points.

It would be better if it was a 12 team league but this team should be highly competitive nevertheless.

You are great at WR.  Even if Nelson struggles to get healthy, Brown & Landry will be mainstays in a ppr and you have the upside of Marvin Jones.  RB is rough.  Abdullah hasn't proven to be a RB2.  He loses 3rd down work and might share some early down work.  But at least you have some decent depth.  Langford will be a better RB2 if keeps the 3-down role.

TE is a concern.  Ertz's 2015 figures are inflated with some late blowout games and he has yet to really live up to the potential. Very inconsistent and you have no one backing him up.

Honestly in a ten team league you shouldn't carry a 2nd QB, especially if you have Rodgers and a short bench.  I know people are excited about Dak, I drafted him last night.  But that was a 14 team league.  I would prefer to find another upside RB/TE in that spot instead.

Rodgers has an early bye and I dropped Dwayne Allen to scoop Prescott after Romo's injury. Might have to drop him for a TE again, I saw Kelce go right before my pick :(

Well it depends on the level of free agent QBs.  I would have to assume in a 10 team league with short benches that there are many bye week replacement QBs available.  Even if every team drafted 2 QBs there should be some serviceable QBs.

Allen doesn't get me very excited.  Is Cook available (though you would be betting on Green Bay's offense)?

Cooks gone. Yahoo's top FA TEs are Virgil Green, Kyle Rudolph, all of the Ravens TEs, Charles Clay

Bingo. Don't carry 2 QBs. Disagree on Allen. I'd go ahead and pick him up.

Ouch.. I am sorry for your loss.  A lot of hype around Blake Bortles and TE Julius Thomas that hasn't happened (I don't know maybe the fact that their head coach can't win more than 4 games every year for the last four or five years.. how is he not fired yet).  Jeremy Langford having only 2 TDs and 116 yards has to hurt as a RB1 due to his ankle injury.  Justin Forsett is now a lion but still as RB2 has to hurt even more.

Def/ST: Rams
