UDFA M. Pierce 78 making plays again... hes been good tonight. Might want to take a deeper look at him...

The depth is so much better from where it was last year (which was awful). The only real soft spots are QB and some OL positions.

Have a feeling will be see him playing earlier next game to see how he does against the first stringers.

its funny how the carolina commentators are calling that play dangerous and uncalled for - i mean it was stupid but he caught the end of his foot by accident - it was completely unintentional and they were just talking down like they were giving some sort of stern health and safety lecture

I'd say Mallett is a solid back up. Better than a decent chunk of the league's #2's. Mentally he can be hit or miss but he can make all the throws and get the job done if need be.
