I mean last season a lot of people predicted us to be in the super bowl. Unfortunately we didn't even come close, but I do think this team is miles ahead of what it was last season. If everybody was healthy and never had injuries I would say 12-4.. But unfortunately this is real life so I'm going to say 10-6.

Jags offense looks dynamic against a solid jets defense - Just looking at the early games, hope we have a couple wins on the board heading there

Jaguars offense was an underrated one last season they have looked great. Robinson and Bortles were meant to be.

Bills - W, (we have Rex's number wont let Tyrod beat us, and theyre unhealthy to start season)
Browns - W (will not lose to this team)
Jaguars - L (up and coming team, shoot out, but in end we cant cover their weapons... lose high scoring affair)
Raiders - W (again close game, but we redeem last years loss. Raiders dont do well on East Coast)
Redskins - W (just dont see a good football team, their run game looks awful, and Cousins wont beat us if one-dimensional)
Giants -  W (dont see the FA acquisitions working out. rookie and 2nd year starting safeties, we should abuse them deep, run game should roll)

Jets -  L (good enough defense to keep us in check, and cant see us containing Marshall and Decker. Fitz goes off on us)
Steelers - W (smack the Steelers around coming off a loss.. feel the wrath of us coming off a game we should have won)
Browns - W (we will sweep them. i know they shouldve beat us last year, but they look worse and we should be vastly improved)
Cowboys - W (dont trust Romo to stay healthy this late, and just cant see their D play that well above their talent level again)
Bengals - L (the win steak ends, tightly contested but lose a late game lead again)
Dolphins - W (dont see their D improving. Offense should improve under Gase, but see an 8-8 team at best)
Patriots - L (we play them very tough, but they make just enough plays to beat us.. we win the rematch in the playoffs though and ill take that trade)
Eagles -  W (we face Carson Wentz in one of his first starts, and just overwhelm the young, promising player)
Steelers - L (cant see another sweep, and they need a win to stay alive in the post season battle)
Bengals- W (we just cannot be swept again or lose another season finale to them. may decide the division)

So, 11-5. 4-2 division record, will tie for division lead, head-to-head tie and division record tie... lose tie breaker on record vs AFC but get in with Wild Card spot and win Wild Card. Beat Pats in the Divisional round. Face Broncos or Steelers in the AFC Title game and wont predict that.

Another successful season, promising young talent but ultimately success hinges on a healthy Suggs, Flacco and SSS. All 3 contribute. Perriman returns to play  a big role.

I just think we sleep on them and obj and Cruz give us fits. I def think we could just as easily win but I thought 13-3 was just a little too optimistic ^_^

Cruz may not even be playing by then... or ever again. And even if so, likely a shell of his former self. More worried about Shepard.

I think their achilles heel is going to be their safeties. Starting a rookie and a guy who didnt really impress me in his rookie year last year. Lots of inexperience without exactly shutdown corners playing in front of them.

If Perriman and Wallace are both on the field by then, I just think we abuse them with the deep ball... and that after realizing we'll kill them that way, they overcompensate and we run down their throats to completely dominate the game... like a 20-7 type game. OBJ gets his and scores, but we score on 2 big plays, they clamp down after but we just sustain drives and kick FGs the rest of the way to win.

The best wr corps in the league vs one of the worst cb groups. They also may have a more formidable OL so pass rush could be difficult

Lol. This is a joke right. They have 1 good wideout. Shpherd is a tookie and cruz is done.

they have no right side of the line, no linebackers which are tight ends will abuse, and no safeties

this is such a mismatch in favor of the ravens its unreal

but hey i just live in ny. What do i know

I'm not sure I'd call them one of the best groups. They have Beckham Jr and then a bunch of guys with question marks. Cruz hasn't done anything since the injury and shephard is a rookie.

you live in NY, so? what does that give you access to their team that we dont have? a simple internet connection gives us just as much access to the giants as you have.

youre assuming cruz is done, hes been battling injuries for a while now, but it doesnt mean hes done. OBJ is more than likely going to light us up, not a single player on our defense can match up with him at all, not even jimmy smith in 2013 form could match up, and of course were allowed to have personal projections right? i think sterling shephard is gonna be very good, do you have a problem with that?

all the mismatches in the world means nothing if a big time WR completely takes over the game, which OBJ is capable of doing.

also, i said they MAY have a MORE formidable o line, meaning improved from last year, if its an average blocking performance rather than a dumpster fire then we could be in for a long night trying to cover their WRs for 3+ seconds.

8-8

Split with Pitt, Cleveland and Bengals to end up 3-3 in Division.

Loses to Oakland and Jacksonville early set the tone for the season.

I know the past means nothing,  but we've traded wins and losses since Elie got there.  Blew them out in 04, got destroyed in 08 then beat them down in 12 (the Jacoby td dance was crazy even tho no td).  If it goes as it has been, were in for a long game.  Past means nothing, but their weapons worry me.

yeah, theres really no precedent to go off of here, im just looking at their team, and maybe i should have prefaced my last post with "could be the best wr corps in the league". if sterling shephard is as advertised, and if victor cruz can play well against a likely weak CB2, then we are in for a long day.

can we score with them? im almost certain we can, i see 4 quarters of exchanging scores, but i think OBJ alone is too much to handle, sterling shephard as a drive-extender will make it really hard to get them off the field.

We managed to contain Brown and Ben with our make-shift secondary, I don't see why we couldn't Eli and Beckham. Additionally, Steelers had better offense overall than what Giants will be able to put together.

I'm more worried about the Giants d, they looked good against Miami, they were getting to tannehill

in their stadium with crowd behind them - that could b a long day

that could b a brutal stretch - raiders, Giants, jets

but then the bengals offense moves the ball on us one big play at a time and their offense isnt on the same level as pitt. we just tend to play pittsburghs offense really well, i dont know why but we do, i wouldnt count on that kind of performance against every team with good wrs.

That's true as well.

Any given Sunday.

That makes sense and sounds very feasible. I'm pretty sure Cruz will be back by then though but I too am also worried about Sheppard. Really wish we could've drafted him or Boyd. Seems like we always miss out on a wr we could've easily had just like diggs last year. But yeah you make some good points and it could definitely play out that way.

I see a 7-9 to a 10-6 season.  Games can easily go one way or another as we know from last  year

This.

We've improved our depth and our recent draft picks and FA signings look very promising but we can't seem to stay/get healthy.

And we still have Pees, so we still can't disguise a blitz to fool anyone. If we were closer to full strength though, we'd be a legit contender. We have talent, it's just that much of it is constantly in the trainer's room and not on the field.

If we can't beat Bob Griffin in week two....man that guy stinks.

Definitely should start 2-0

Shouldn't sleep on the Bills, they are a good team.

True, and losing at Cle could cause some concern @0-2.

Yea we could just as easily be 0-2.  The only reason the Browns beat us last year was for an insane lucky catch, but then again we beat them by a last second blocked FG.  I find it funny when people are "so sure" we are going to win a game
