I really like this kid. His demeanor and attitude are exemplary. Now we just need to wait for his game to catch up. Give him time folks. He's going to have a few pitfalls in his first year, but let him breathe, adjust and elevate his game as the season goes along. We owe every rookie that latitude if we want them to succeed.

I am going to put that on the Ravens "BOLD STATEMENTS OF THE YEAR" board! and if Castillo is right, then we did in fact get the best Tackle in the draft....what I like about Stanley over Tunsil is that he seems to have Football brains, and that puts him more first year ready, which I am pumped about, if we have this OLine groovin, and with what we are hearing about the RB's, and the TE's like Pitta, and we may have the workings of a suped up Big Block thumping motor, to get our Driver Joe out of the garage. Add the turbo with our WR corps stepping up to the plate, and we might be burning rubber out of the driveway!

Tunsil has a higher ceiling to most. I am not so sure. The knock on Stanley is his physical ability to push the D-Line back in the run game. He should be a GREAT pass pro. LT!

You could have just stopped at brains. The difference between Stanley's comments after he was drafted and Tunsil's were light years apart. Stanley went to Notre Dame and got an education while playing football. Tunsil apparently went to party and to get paid.

Stanley is saying all the right things and acting the right way. When a long time vet like Yanda vouches for you, that's a good thing. It is no secret that Stanley needs to get stronger in the upper body. He only did 24 reps of 225. He's also known not to be as strong in the run game and he's more of a finesse guy than a mauler. I still think he's going to be something special. Every rookie will have their ups and downs. I don't expect Stanley to be Jon Ogden. Meanwhile Tunsil is fighting for the starting LG spot and if it were a fair battle thus far he'd lose, but he's expected to start just because he's the 1st round pick. He's losing to an absolutely awful G mind you.

I hope this is a testament to Stanley and not a testament of how putrid our pass rush is gonna be this year. If he was holding Suggs and Dumervil off I would be a little more optimistic but most likely he is going up against undrafted rookies, 6th rounders and a bunch of cast offs from other teams.

he'll go against the best, week in and week out and around week 10,he'll hit a mighty big wall and since we didn't bring in LONG as a tutor and to pick up the slack when STANLEY gets injured trying to push himself,we're screwed.

Stanley is gonna get tested rite out the gate I'm sorry correct me if I'm wrong but the bills got shaq ?! If so he prolly done looked over the schedule and he can prepare for all his match ups and knock them off one by one! Can't lie didn't think he was ready when I saw a special about him before the pick and he seems to be focused and ready to roll! THIS OUR YEAR!

Don't jinx us with an injury. We had enough last year. Does it really matter if Long was his tutor? The O line Coach has that responsibility.

Lawson just had shoulder surgery and is likely out for the year. Still, Buffalo's a tough match-up.

His demeanor, character and well spoken attributes have me comparing him to Johnathan Ogdan

Probably the best OT Ravens have drafted since Ogden. The potential is there.
