Yeah I believe they want to give Perriman what he deserves, a chance to be on the field. What could possibly be wrong with that? His injury does not mean he is a bust or should be released. This kid needs some empathy from fans like yourself. Go Ravens.

Perriman who? I'm glad this Correa rookie is shaking some feathers... We were soft with Pitta, Flacco after Haloti, Reed and Lewis left this team.

Not too many teams release their first round picks before their rookie contracts run out. They'll give him every chance to get healthy and to get on the field to get some ROI.

A lot of words I have heard used to describe Joe Flacco, but soft isn't one of them and for good reason. BTW, did you know Haloti got hurt when he went to Detroit? Guess he's soft now too?

Perriman needs to be released he's a bum and was a reach in the draft, we need to stop playing around and get the one of the top 3 wr's in next years class. Training camp don't last forever and he's waisting time.

People saying Perriman is a bum are the worst kinds of fans (and also probably the same type fans that were booing the Correa pick during the draft).  We were told Perriman would probably be back at SOME point during training camp.  No where did anyone ever say the start of training camp.

You do know that getting one of the top 3 WR's in the draft will mean we have to get a top pick in the draft and that means losing a lot of football games. But just in case you weren't aware, Perriman was tied for 3rd in rating. Of the first round draft picks these are the guys:

Amari Cooper (4th overall) draft rating 7.13 Pro Bowl Rookie

Kevin White (7th overall) draft rating 6.95. Hasn't played a snap in the NFL

DeVonte Parker (14th overall) draft rating 6.26: Decent production. 26/50 for 494 yards and 3 TDs.

Breshard Perriman (26th overall) draft rating 6.25: Hasn't played a snap in the NFL

Phillip Dorsett (29th overall) draft rating 5.87: 18/39 225 yards 1 TD.

Just goes to show you that even when you do draft the top talent in the draft it doesn't always work out.

I guess this is the guy that the writers a deciding to get hyped about during training camp. This doesn't always work out so I will temper my expectations until game time.

Love the effort that Correa is putting in but Can you believe they haven't announced the release of that perriman guy!.............smh..... wasting roster spots!

There is a reason they hire the real pro's to run the team. Most people faced with those tasks would give in to the outside pressure instead of stick to their strategy. Ask teams like Cleveland how that approach works out (speaking to their "home run everytime" strategies of old.

IMHO you cannot accurately judge a player's value based on being injured. Players of all caliber get injured, its part of the game. Perriman will be a difference maker when he's able to return, which is to say he will be a contributor.

Using the logic of your comment would mean cutting Pitta, J Smith,
Suggs, Dumervil, etc just because they are injured does not mean they are wasting a roster spot.

After last season I think it is very fair to say that the Ravens have figured out how to manage the injuries rather well and still be competitive no matter who is out.

Haters gunna hate. Watch us cut him and go to the bengals and destroy us once he's healthy. Then Ozzie will get blasted by the same fans for not sticking it out just a little longer.

shake ur head, call me a bad fan all u want, im one of the most loyal and proud ravens fan on this planet, and I go to any length to defend the team and players, but until Perriman actually does something other than be injured, sorry, but to me he's a wasted roster spot. When I see him do something, i'll go back to rooting for him but until then i don't really care about him anymore

Cut Perriman?!??? LMAO. Are these steeler fans or just awful band wagon fans writing this....unreal. This article isn't even on him lol. I love this draft including KO. I think Kufasi is the wild card. We need another effective d lineman. Can his back hold up and will he translate to the NFL? Hope so. If he does, I say we look back in a few years and realize this class more than made up for whiffing on some of the last few

I bet you were one of those fans calling Jimmy a bust, because he didn't make an impact until his 3rd year. It's only Perriman's 2nd year, give it some time. Just look at how patient the Ravens are with Matt Elam with his first 3 years of below average play. They're not so quick to give up on one of their 1st round picks.
