[News] News And Notes 8/1: Stadium Practice Gets A Little Chippy

I read that West has looked good during camp and tonight he stood out over the other backs.

I love Flacco because he can say things like this about Pitta, "He got his little baby injury that he always gets in camp and gets him out of a week in camp. "That’s better than breaking his hip though."

I tried to stay away from commenting on anything for the past month but this to me is absolutely worth it!

1- I love the passion and sense of urgency that's been implanted in every stage of this offseason.

2- Position battles all over the field are bringing the best out of everyone.

3- all the young guns are playing desperate! All the older guns are fighting them off.

4- I don't praise Flacco very often for stepping up as a leader but this time I will. We let TE first few scuffles go because we need the sense of war. But once it got overboard he jumped in and made his point. Now he also has to make sure he has his WRs back as hell be throwing a lot into crowded areas of the field. Your pass catchers need to know you got their back.

5- when does the damn season start?!!

Not too chippy guys. Please no more njuries by friendly practice! I know everyone is working on a roster spot but too much chippiness is bad for the body lol. Go Ravens.

Love it! Correa has the right attitude for when we play other teams but he got schooled on "when" to do that stuff last night! I'm really hoping the penalties are less this year than the last couple.

I went to the camp last night. It was good to see the physicality in practice. We've been a very soft team for a couple years. You practice how you play. Turn the youngin's loose. Hit but do not injure your teammates. Hit but do not cause penalties. The offensive players need to keep their head on a swivel. It's football, not volleyball. The league has gotten too soft and so have we.
