I could take it or leave it. The team isn't called the Baltimore Shields. I don't think it was a dumb logo at all and I do think it should be incorporated somehow because it does symbolize the flag of Baltimore. We already have it on the jerseys and I think it would be a nice touch to have them in either one or both of the endzones. But since BALTIMORE is in one endzone anyway, there's your tie to the city. Since RAVENS is on the other end and smaller in comparison, I think there should be a shield in front of the "R" and one after the "S" That gives you a bit more symmetry, gives everyone the shield, and gives everyone the Baltimore flag connection, while the teams main logo is at midfield.

Surprised the Ravens missed a great opportunity to involve the fans. An online vote of 3 or 4 options would have been nice. I think most fans would like to see the shield on the field, even if were just relegated to the RAVENS end zone. .

Totally agree with you. The shield was so big and multi-colored the players got lost to the viewers when they lined up on it. After all, the whole idea is for the fans to be able to SEE THE PLAYERS. Long live the cleaned up field!!! Play ball!!
