What teams you think should relocate next?

49 posts in this topic

I think the Raiders should go back to Los Angeles. The Coliseum is old and the Fans don't sellout the Coliseum. Also i think the Jags should go to San Antonio. The fans are not supportive in Jacksonville they need other teams fans to sellout that place.

I think the fans are decently supportive in Jacksonville they're just working with a saturated and small market. Maybe the league likes Florida for its tax regulations - the players surely do (no income tax).

I don't know if the Jaguars can do it long-term... Another Texas team? Eh... if you were doing it geographically, the West is wide open. Of course, there is less population density but perhaps a team in Oklahoma City could make it. Texas (San Antonio) might be the best solution. Vegas would be crazy, the Bowl Cut son seems to like it there.

Yes, their market is saturated and small. They also give up their home games to go abroad and supplement their income (and viewership) that way. Weren't they also part of the Yahoo streaming? They seem to be the NFLs guinea pig.

They may not be long for Jacksonville but I do think they have involved fans. They have a disproportionately large online fan presence compared to other, more popular franchises.

Look at our Ravens fan base they are compared to the Redskins fan base. Its very tough to get a ticket to watch the Ravens,Redskins,Cowboys,Packers or even the Steelers. Also Both Ravens and Redskins fans travel to other teams stadiums and help sellout their stadium like they did down in Miami last year.

Yeah, I'd feel bad for the Jags fans if their team got pulled out from under them - especially if it happened in the next few years now that they're on the upswing. It'd just kill you to suffer through your team underperforming for decades, then get excited about the future as you find your franchise QB only for the team to get moved before you can see what their potential was.

That is preposterous. Paul Tagliabue just fainted.

I like the Raiders to move to Vegas. They can then change their logo to the "Deadman's Hand"

Exactly. We all know how the NFL tries to distance itself from gambling.

I think the Jaguars are about to becomethe Seahawks of the South. They're going to have a few good seasons and fans are going to come out the woodwork.

I don't think so,,Jags are just like The Browns

The Jags have put together a good young roster, mainly a good QB. Something the Browns didn't have the luxury of. The one year the Browns had a decent QB they went 8-8. Also, their division is looking mighty weak right now. The Browns have one of the better divisions in football.

The Colts are good they're gonna have trouble playing them. Just like the Bengals give the Ravens most trouble

The Colts have a lot of problems. They need to worry about Luck staying up, their O line, and defense. I think the Jags have a much more complete roster. The Bengals also have a more complete roster, I don't think it's fair to compare the Colts to the Bengals.

The Panthers played two seasons there while Bank of America Stadium was being built in Charlotte

Better they cover them, than what Daniel Snyder does by physically taking out sections of FedEx Field.   Also he got rid of all the free water fountains there, you want water then be ready to cough up 6 bucks.

That is interesting.  I am wondering how legal that is.
I know by law ( health code ? ) restaurants MUST make free water available.  Now I don't know if restaurants covers ALL places that serve food, or just places that have seating.

Football Stadiums don't count as restaurants, you don't buy a ticket to eat at one.  It does not cover public places.  I do volunteer work for the Washington Kastles and when they were in their temporary outdoor locations they charged $5 for water.  Now that they play at George Washington University's Smith Center, they have to use the fountains.

Jacksonville is the best and most complete team in the South. Hell the Colts could find themselves in the basement in 2 years unless they make some HUGE moves to beef up the trenches and secondary. Every team in that division is on the upswing in a major way and the Colts have Andrew luck and nothing more, who by the way is.now the richest player in history, his contract will make it nearly impossible to build a supporting cast from the ground up. You must not have followed the jags recent draft classes to say something like this..
