If SSS and Perriman are able to answer the bell this could really be a dynamic offense factoring in our TE's WR's and RB's swinging out of the backfield. Can't wait.

Makes me wonder what other teams do for their conditioning test. Wallace has been on 3 other teams and he's not the first that commented on the ravens test

This tells me a few very positive things such as Wallace has benefited from his past experiences and has grown and matured considerably. The Ravens conditioning test is as tough as has been reported by many players over the years and is a testament of the dedication to the winning culture they have established. Setting the expectations bar high is the best way to achieve great things. I also believe the challenge of the conditioning test has renewed the competitive drive in Wallace and it sounds as though he's using that to his advantage.

"Wallace said that even if Head Coach John Harbaugh would have eventually let him practice without passing, the wide receiver would have declined."

Harbaugh letting anyone joining the training without passing the test??? Wallace is really new to the team :D:D:D I'm sure Harbaugh wouldn't have even let Ray Lewis joing the training until he passes the test - but then again, Ray Lewis not passing a conditioning test? LOL I have the feeling Ray would pass the test today :)

The key to this offense cannot be pinned on the performance of any 1 receiver, in fact in my opinion Trestman needs to use the teams many weapons to its benefit. This team needs to use Joe's great physical talent and arm to make teams cover every weapon on the field. Long passes will come, but they are not what this team needs to do. The offensive team needs to control the clock, build offensive drives and be technically sound. The Defense needs to turn the ball back over to the offense as quick as possible. Here is where the Ravens can develop a "new" style of Ravens football. Balanced and effective based on technique and execution. Score touchdowns instead of field goals in the majority of red zone situations and use the element of surprise, in moderation, "to surprise".

How about we get all three starters 1000 yds and two tight ends 500 each. The rest will be icing on the cake. This is very possible if they share the ball and run routs hard, knowing that someone else will get the ball 5/6 of the time. This is what will make the receiving core great! Watch tape of Steve Smith and Boldin. They are examples of how receivers are to perform every play to the fullest and then block once the play is determined! Wallace needs to look at the entire scope of things, as Ravens we need to expect it! This is why the conditioning test is so hard, because as our great Ray L always said "the play isn't over until it is over."

I have to say I like what I am hearing from Wallace. Looks like Joe and Mike have a bit of chemistry on the field already and that's only going to help going forward. I am glad that they are connecting well on things other than long bombs which hopefully means Wallace is not just a one trick pony. This conditioning test the Ravens do is notoriously tough and I am not just saying that because I am a Ravens fan. Any free agent looking to come here and coast better get a clue. I guess a new slogan "Condition Test Like a Raven" won't really catch on?

Kudos to the Ravens for not watering down the test and kudos to Wallace for not whining about it, going back to preparation, and getting it done. Refreshing to see, especially in this day and age, the Ravens stick to their guns and the players accepting it as part of doing business. They will be thankful once the real action starts.

I'm anxious to see what Wallace has to bring to the Ravens. Living here in FL, I have had people criticize the Ravens for picking him up. Saying stuff like, "Yeah, now you guys are gonna have to deal with that guys' attitude". Or even, "that guy is a jerk, just wait". So I am actually pretty excited to see what he has to offer, especially on gameday.

Wallace is saying and doing the right things. Usually when that happens with a vet it means that he gets it and he is going to come in and be productive. His productivity it sounds will come from all over the field and not just on deep passes. If Perriman finally can get onto the field, along with Chris Moore, then we will need Wallace to be able to do everything else when those other guys are flying down the field. You have to imagine a secondary looking across the line at Perriman, Moore and Wallace and what do they do? If you put your fast guys on the outside with Perriman and Moore, Wallace will eat you up with your slowest corner on him. If they put their faster guy on Wallace then Perriman and Moore will just fly down the sideline for either a TD or a PI on every play. Add Steve Smith, Camp, and Butler/Reynolds and this WR class will blow up secondaries. I don't want to brag too much about our WR because when we did about our RBs and TEs, they started dropping like flies so I don't want to jinx anyone.

Attitudes usually rear their ugly heads when players are discontented for whatever reasons. If he feels he isn't playing as much as he should, not being used like he should be used, and not getting the ball enough, I could see something like this happening. Ultimately guys get paid based on how they perform on the field. I am not saying this is Wallace's issue or even if he has one at all. Sometimes fans act harshly when a guy is paid big money and doesn't perform up to that expectation. The Dolphins paid him quite a bit and he certainly didn't give them what they thought they were getting. We'll see soon enough if it was diminishing skills or if it was simply not having a QB that could take advantage of what Wallace brings to the table. So far he seems like he is fitting in great and he and Flacco already seem to be on the same page. Have to wait and see how that really translates on the field, but so far so good.

Good news to hear! I just hope the play calling will lift our WR Corp instead of the sputtering it does from time to time! Joe gotta do pump fake routes and Wallace has speed and can get separation with pump fakes and double moves! THIS OUR YEAR!
