"Can rookie Ronnie Stanley provide immediate stability to Flacco's blind side?"

Gotta love these kind of questions... CAN he provide immediate stability? Of course he can - that's why he was picked at #6. You don't pick a guy at #6 you don't think could have an immediate impact. Stanley was obviously picked because Ozzie thinks he can be a day#1 starter, and a solid one. And the rest of the NFL seems to concur.

Now, WILL he provide immediate stability of Flacco's blind side? That's the real question - but, unfortunately, nobody can tell it at this point. We are gonna see. We have seen lots of top picks everyone considered surefire picks flop, just like we've seen a lot of late round picks and even undrafted rookies suddenly and unexpectedly rise to the top with a terrific rookie season... At this point, everything is possible. Stanley is undoubtedly promising, and we have every right to be hopeful about him. The rest... we'll see.

Despite the poor wording that's obviously what he meant with the question. I'm skeptical ...if I were to guess I'd say he will have some early struggles but catch on really fast. I also have high hopes for Alex Lewis. All reports are this guy is like a Pollock and is a straight mauler.

I do NOT consider Dalton to be a dangerous QB... He is a QB with dangerous weapons but he is sub par for sure... and "IF" we can generate more of a pass rush against him. I think we can make it very difficult for Dalton to find those weapons with the consistency that he has in the past vs us.

Plus the addition of Weddle will help us exploit Dalton and expose him for what he is. (he is a QB who will put up good numbers bc of his weapons and well rounded offense - but also a QB who will force things and turn the ball over a lot if /when pressured).

I am surprised that Bortles and Carr were listed above Romo and Eli... I do think that both Bortles and Carr will be a handful again this year but we should be much better equipped this time around also!

When the league fines the team $150,000, where does the money go? Why don't they just give it to the player with the concussion?

Fine money goes to NFL Charities.

One of my biggest questions going into the season will be the effectiveness of our pass rush. If Suggs and Doom start the regular season on PUP (a question in its own right), we're going to have at least 6 weeks of Z.Smith and Correa as our main edge rushers.

That's exactly the two names I was thinking about - on both sides.

Highly unlikely that both Suggs and Doom start the year on pup. Personally, I'm excited to see our pass rush this year. Should be games where an interior rush causes issues to opposing QBs and whoever keeps doom fresh will likely get more pressure than we saw in years past

Here is the real skinny....Joe Flacco as a starter comes in younger, stronger and in his prime comparably. Joe can and most probably out play's all of these QB's this year. Now im not stating yardage because that is a barometer that as Manning has proven doesnt tell the entire story. Joe will out play these QB's because of his leadership and savoy, not to mention his arm strength and physical ability.
Brady is out for 2 weeks and his recieving core is depleted, Rothlesberger gets more immobile with every season, Dalton cant win in the playoffs and will go down to the Ravens this year!!, Carr is jittery, Bortles is still developing.
