Whats the best game you saw Ravens play?

Cool highlights. Ed Reed looks twice the size as he did later in his career.

In terms of earlier games, I really liked last years game against Carolina. SSS put on a clinic and had a similar catch that you showed.

Didn't see any of the above, so I'll say last year's Wild Card against the Steelers, where Ben got burried by our pass rush, AB's best catch was a fumble recovery, and Sizzle made himself a case for the Gymnastic Olympics.

September 11th, 2011.

Ravens 35, Steelers 7. As one-sided a game as I remember (kicked off the season, the year after the Steelers had just lost in the SB).

We had 170 rushing yards compared to 66 for the Steelers. Flacco threw 3 TD passes.

Roethlisberger was sacked 4 times and had FIVE turnovers in the game, defense forced SEVEN turnovers total. Shut them out in the second half.

Mile High Miracle literally brought tears to my eyes. I'd have to go with that one.

That was a great one, then the only thing the Steelers fans could hold onto was that 'Flacco hasn't beaten Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh'... until that game rolled around, everyone remembers Torrey snagging that TD in the corner.

Yeah, that was an epic battle. I'd have to agree.

Other really good ones from a few years back:

2005 Ravens at Redskins

2006 Ravens vs Chargers

2006 Ravens vs Steelers domination

2007 Ravens vs Packers (MNF)

2008 Ravens at Cowboys

Ravens at Cowboys was pretty special, considering we were handpicked to close out Cowboys Stadium with a W.

Oooops...

I remember how nervous I was for that game.  A lot of drinking and a lot of fun though.  Probably the most complete game I've seen ever seen the Ravens play and I haven't seen many.  That, the opener against the Bengals in 12 and against the Giants are probably the best all around games I've seen the team play from start to finish.

11 was probably the most interesting season I can remember as a fan.  The Steelers sweep and the Cardinals comeback come to mind as highlights.  Then losing to the Titans week 2, Jags on MNF and the end of their season.  Displayed perfectly how low the teams floor can be, while showcasing how high their ceiling was.

Eww... Just remembered the Jets game.

Only been to one live game and it was against the Bucs in 14.  Pretty fun.  Favorite game though had to be the rematch in AFFCG.  Only abovethe 09/11/2011 game because of what was on the line and how they were embarrassed the 2nd half.  I still remember the Boldin TD, and him pointing down and laughing at the DB covering him

Is this the best game, as in the best I've ever seen the Ravens play... or best game, as in, most entertaining game ive ever watched that the Ravens were involved in?

Tailgating before that game, my entire group (like 6 people) all said how we had a bad feeling about that game. They had just made a SB run the previous season, and we had an "improved team" but was a team I thought was a bit old and may be taking a step back. Quite the opposite happened actually.

2011 team was by far the most "interesting" team I remember (2012 was similar). I still think the 2011 team was significantly better than the 2012 team that won the SB.

I was at the Jags game in 2011 on MNF... one of my bigger regrets. I spent the weekend prior in Orlando at Disney with my brother (who worked there at the time) basically on a 3-4 day bender, and we drank rather heavily at the Ravens hotel in Jacksonville day of and in the tailgate lot. I spent most of the tailgating time "nicely" conversing with Jags fans and basically telling all of them "you realize you have no shot of beating us right".

6 hours later, and the joke was on me. Probably one of the most disappointing Ravens games I remember. We were better than them at basically every single facet of football, and they simply outplayed us that night.

Best game I've ever seen was Mile High Miracle. That was really the godfather of football games lol. Once we won that I knew we were destined to win it all.

Best game I've seen the Ravens play was Anquan's revenge vs the cardinals, our biggest comeback ever.

I remember this game clear as day.  I had just moved and my cable wasn't turned on yet so I went to the Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game.   The bar was filled w/ Steeler fans and they were talking smack before kick-off.   I think by the middle of the 2nd QTR, not a single one of them had anything to say. We jumped out on them so fast, and the Steelers never recovered.  Rice had a field day. Great way to start the 2011 season.

I think the 11 team might have been the best team we've ever had.  Reed and Lewis were still very productive, and as a whole, the most balanced.

Feel your pain for the Jags game.  I live in South Florida and was so close to going to that game and last minute decided not to.

Being at the Mile High miracle playoff game was the best game I ever attended, flew in from 88 degrees in miami to -8 degrees in Denver, the beer would freeze on the walk from the concession stand to seat, Was so amazing to be a Ravens fan that day, I still go through the pics from that day and get goosebumps!!!!

Was wondering about that myself. It's also somewhat counterintuitive to pose the topic as a question as an OP and then provide a concrete answer, but I digress. Apart from the ones mentioned and obviously the SuperBowl, the most memorable game in my mind that the Ravens were involved in happened in 2013 against Minnesota. It had arguably the wildest finish I've ever seen. 5 touchdowns in 2 minutes and 9 seconds. Should I come down with gray hairs earlier than anticipated, I'll attribute at least a portion of those to that contest. The best one I've seen in person is a toss up between the Texans playoff game that ended with an Ed Reed deflection in the end zone and the win against the Browns in 2014 to finish the season with a playoff birth.

The most fun game I've ever attended was 2013 Ravens vs Vikings at M&T during the blizzard. Drove down the night before from Philly and stayed at my brothers in Bel Air. Dragged my wife into Baltimore the next morning to tailgate... bar hopped for a couple hours before going into the game.

Snowed like crazy the entire time, getting progressively worse. I got drunk just so i wouldnt feel the cold. I believe this was also Pittas first game back...

But, as the 4th qtr was ending I remember my entire section getting up to leave all upset thinking we lost... so drunk me started doing the "Angels in the outfield" thing, flapping my wings. Yelled at everyone who was leaving so theyd stay - called the comeback.

The final 5 minutes were pure pandemonium. Up, then we're down. Long TD, kickoff return, long TD first play from scrimmage... drive down the field, TD to Marlon Brown back of end zone. Game.

In the picture of Marlon catching that TD on this site and others... if you looked right in the crook of his armpit you'd see a guy wrapped in clothes with a black hood. That was me. At one point in the celebration of that TD, with me being drunk and everything covered in ice and snow i ran to do a chest bump with some guy sitting a couple seats down and nearly fell over the railing onto the field. Had good seats to begin with but since so many ppl either didnt show or left early, we moved down to the front row.

That was just an awesome game to be a part of.

The mile high miracle was probably the most intense game I have ever watched, which made it one of the most relieving wins I ever needed to calm me down. I can't say I had fun watching that game. For me the best game was our first Super Bowl game. We kicked the Giants butt and I was happy from beginning to end. Winning the Lombardi, without spiking my blood pressure, is a pretty damn satisfying experience.

This was the best game ever. Embarrassing the Browns and their overrated fans. Blowing them out and panning around to a half empty stadium of the "best fans in the nfl" is a sight I will never forget.

Jamal's record breaking rushing game v them was also great.

The Mile High Miracle was a great game. But Look at the game i showed you vs Seattle. Being 17 points down in 4th quarter with under 7 minutes to go was almost impossible to win. Even most of Ravens fans gave up and left that game. I was there on that game. I also felt they were gonna to lose but i stayed because i love watching football. I saw all those empty seats upper level and then after the 2:00 warning i said to myself well this is getting interesting. And then When 44 seconds left Seattle was going for it on 4 & 1.I said common guys stop it. And they did i screamed my lungs out and said big mistake guys you should have punted it. And then when Stover kicked tying FG Ravens tied it with 00 left.. And i said i wonder what the fans feel now when they're stuck in traffic listen to this on radio. Ravens won it in overtime. Now tell me that was a impossible miracle win?

The Mile High Miracle rates pretty high, but I was adamant we were going to win that game.  The two TD's allowed on Special Teams made it a nail biter for us. Should have been an easy win.  Jacoby Jones could get deep. No idea why Kubiak forsook him.  Kubiak did not care for JJ.

The Cardiac Cardinal game and Anquan Boldin's must have heroics will always be etched in my memory. To this day I believe our downward spiral began with Boldin's misevaluation. It's not like we were adept at evaluating receivers before Boldin. No idea why they tossed him overboard for bean counter small beans.

Hey diddle diddle Ray Rice up the middle.  A huge game that was mandatory we win.

The AFC Championship drubbing of the Patriots

The Championship Game vs San Fran.  Boldin, Flacco, Jacoby Jones......Jimmy Smith's stellar plays vs Crabtree.

The Steelers drubbing wasn't much of a game, but it established our dominance over them.  We'll see if we can live up to it this year.

Best game I saw live was vs the Titans in 2014 - which was just a pretty standard 21-7 win with nothing to really write home about aside from that massive Terrence Brooks hit on Delanie Walker. So not as spectacular as the Mile High Miracle or anything, but the only other game I saw live was the 43-23 loss to the Steelers the week before, so yeah....

The Seattle vs Ravens game was almost like The Oilers vs Bills playoff game. Remember? Oilers had 35 point lead at halftime and Bills came back to beat them!

**Best game I saw IN Person live..  ( because let's face it there are so many on TV games to pick from )

I live in Louisiana so opportunites to see the Ravens in person are few. I've only been to 1 NFL game but it was very memorable that was Ravens @ Texans 12/13/10 Monday Night Football wk14  34-28 OT. Shaub threw the pick 6 to Josh Wilson in overtime.

The game was a roller coaster ride. Ravens were up 21-0 quickly, then blew the second half lead, when game was tied in the closing seconds of 4th quarter it seemed all but over.

After shaub threw the pick 6 I was screaming like an idiot for joy surrounded by Texan fans red hot.

*** on tv personal favorite game, because I hate the Cowboys was shutting down Texas Stadium by running all over them in the 4th quarter lol. McClain and McGahee bust those long td runs  ***

Most dominant ravens performance of say was the wild card @Miami in 08, the wildcat still had teams on edge, nobody knew if it was for real or just a dying fad, the ravens proved that it certainly had very little use against the big dogs, ed reeds long pick six in the playoffs, I believe sizzle had 2 sacks, our defense in general lit it up and leron McClain had a field day. Total dominance in the playoffs. 06 vs the Steelers is another case of dominance.

Best game? Easily mile high miracle, no questions, and it doesn't even need explaining but I'll give a quick one anyway.. Peyton and his Broncos had already punched their tickets to NOLA by week 10, there was no stopping it, in their stadium, after a bye, Peyton has 2 weeks with his great preparation, an elite front seven, they already destroyed us a month prior at home, we simply had no chance..... And then, flacco...

That's probably my 2nd, but there's something about beating the Pats at home that's so satisfying.  That Broncos  game was huge for so many reasons.  I remember telling my friends at the start of the playoffs(since seeding was set) the biggest problem would be beating the Broncos.  I told them, Colts shouldn't be a problem and if we got past Peyton we were winning it all.  So many years struggling against Manning, then to do it in a 2 OTB thriller was amazing.

The Mile High Miracle... i knew we were going to win. When time was ticking away my whole family was saying that was it, game over... were starting to walk off to go to bed.

I made them all stay bc i said we were definitely going to come back. Then Joe scrambles and throws that bomb to Jacoby. I think I posted a 40 inch vertical right when he caught it as i jumped into my moms sliding glass door and almost broke it. Prob sprinting 3 or 4 laps around the downstairs before i finally settled down enough to watch more.

Than Peyton Peyton'd overtime and gave us the game. Sweet, sweet victory.
