Home Game(s) You Plan To Attend 2016 - Why?

51 posts in this topic

This is for we non-season ticket holders.  Which home games do you plan on attending this season and why?

Ok, I really wanted to attend the season opener versus the Bills cause I wanted to see my boy Tyrod Taylor come back to town but I'll be out of town on business.  So, I'm attending the following home games....

1. Week #4 vs the Raiders.  The Raiders beat us during our West Coast trip so I want to see how we do being well rested and playing at home this time around.

2. Week #9 vs the Steelers.  Umm...no explanation needed!

Go Ravens!

I'm trying to go to Baltimore for the game against Miami. My brother is a huge dolphins fan and we both live in Miami so we're trying to make the trip, and it's usually a pretty close game.

I'm going to the November game against the Steelers. First Ravens game.

I already told my coworkers that I had to drop what I'm going at 9:55 to buy the tickets right at 10:00 to ensure I get what I want.

Can't remember, didn't the Ravens stay out west for the Raiders game after losing the week before to Denver? If so, rest wasn't the issue.  A stupid personal foul penalty by Jernigan and a bogus PI call on Will Hill at the end of the game cost us.

I'm going to my first ever NFL game (I live in California and most Bay Area sports fans are intolerable and I don't want to be physically harmed by wearing a Ravens jersey to their venue) in November for Thursday Night Football against Cleveland. My first trip to the east coast also! Couldn't be more excited.

I would feel more comfortable going to a Ravens game in Cali than I would going to one in Cleveland.

They kind of really still hate us since their team left and came to Bmore. FYI, Cleveland is not the east coast, so don't judge the east coast by your Cleveland visit. LOL.

Enjoy it! I made my first trip to the Bank last year, and after going to the stadium here in Miami I can say it's a huge upgrade.

So quick question for those who have bought before.

I'm planning on getting upper deck tickets on the 50 on the visitor side (tickets on the home side are like $40 more a ticket and I need three. Insane).

I've heard tickets sell very quickly. Anyone here ever had trouble getting the tickets they wanted?

Tickets are pretty easy to come by if you use a re-seller like StubHub.

I'm going to use TicketMaster right at 10:00 because I want to make sure I get the exact seats we want since this will be my first game, but that's a relief to hear that they aren't impossible to come by.

Good luck with that.  I don't think I've ever seen anyone report getting multiple tickets together.  I doubt if the seats you want are even available.  There are VERY FEW tickets offered and they're mostly singles in the end zones.  NFL Ticket Exchange is your best bet.  That's the official reseller and they're guaranteed.

I typically use ticket master and stub hub, but might be worth checking Baltimore craigslist. The closser you get to the 50 yard line the more expensive and harder it will be to get multiple seats together.

Could always just buy 4 and scalp one for a few beers or merch.

I usually am good for at least one game a year, but honestly enjoy it more from home. Way better seats...and we get heat!

Would consider doing some tailgating and maybe catching the Ravens/Eagles game if I can find a deal.

My girlfriend tried that last year and the system kept going down and when she called the hold was eternal, by the time it was actually working all the tickets were sold out. We ended up getting them from Stub Hub I think but we still got great seats!

Damn, didn't realize it'd be so hard to find a ticket. I guess I'll just role with NFL ticket exchange because they have a lot in the sections I'm looking at for my price range.

I did it that way for my first Ravens game and "best available" for 2 seats together ended up being in the very top row of the upper deck.  Since then, I've always use the reseller's sites and have no problem getting the tickets I want, though I pay a price since I get front row or at least low and close to 50 yard line.

Re going to games out west, I've worn a Ravens jersey to San Francisco, San Diego and Denver and have had zero problems.  And on topic, the only game I'm getting to this year is in Dallas.

Agreed. There's pretty much no chance of actually getting multiples from Ticketmaster... the brokers will scoop those up before everybody else for the most part.

You won't have a problem finding them on broker sites like StubHub or others, though price will be the issue there. You'll probably pay twice face value.

If you're comfortable with that, then you won't have a problem finding what you want.

Bills, because my buddy is coming down from Buffalo.

Skins because I have a long standing tradition with a Skins buddy where we always take each other to their home game.

Ditto on the Skins game.

Sunday Night, December 7th, 2008. Redskins at Ravens.

The most miserably cold, miserable weather game I've ever been to. I've been to rain games, I've been to snow games (Ravens vs Vikings in 2013). This game was the worst for me.

I got my tickets.

Section 526, row 28. I paid a real pretty penny, but I got the section I wanted (on midfield) for a game I wanted (Steelers-Ravens) for my first ever game.

Well, I got my three tickets to the Ravens game. Paid more than they're worth in all likelihood (with all taxes and fees, it's  $255 a piece), but I've never been to a game, it's the Steelers, and it's on midfield.

Figured it was worth it to celebrate two years with my girlfriend.
