Former #Navy QB Keenan Reynolds had tough practice today. A couple of dropped passes, misplayed a kick return into a fumble #RavensTalk

 

TE Dennis Pitta seemed to handle first contact practice well. Was kocked to the ground on hard hit by Zach Orr, popped right up #RavensTalk

Pitta wasn't injured due to a hit so I never doubted his reaction to contact. It's the jukes and the cuts that had/have me paranoid.

I really think we got a steal with Chris Moore, this guy killed the senior bowl, stood out in OTAs and seems to be doing awesome in Training camp. I've heard nothing but great things about him and I loved what I seen on film. I really hope he gets a bigger role on this team, I feel like he's becoming a severely under the radar guy.

The training camp battle at the deepest position on the team isn't training camp related? I mean I'm fine starting a thread for the TE battle in TC but I'm convinced it would be locked and we would be told to come here anyway

Hopefully it's minor, but a good rib injury can take a long time to overcome.  Have a personal anecdote regarding that, but I'll save it for later. Jernigan's dominant part of his body is ribs.  He's got a lot of rib.

Despite having doubts about his overall contribution, we need to have Jernigan in there, hopefully this is a quick heal.

I think it would be a good topic.  It would be nice for our members to save this thread for updates so we can have a quick source for news.

Yeah, hear what you're saying.  Jimmy didn't have a good season.  His Pitt game was his best, but Lisfrancs man.

Wallace stayed after Practice on the Juggs machine for about a half hour. Dedication. 

He's got to be close to what he was. I'm mildly optimistic here. He had a way of creating separation on broken plays.....we'll see.

Juice was was looking beastly, catching everything that was thrown at him and grabbing extra yards even though he was running with the 2s

Juice has always had exceptional hands.

Crocket stayed on the sidelines and was there at the end of practice.

It doesn't sound like Keenan Reynolds is doing well at all, which could be a good thing for Campanaro.  Reynolds has apparently been dropping a ton of balls and very unimpressive on returns.

I wouldn't worry about Reynolds. He's making a massive leap right now, going from a college spread and option offense to a NFL west coast and return man. I expected a 2 or 3 year transition anyway.

I'm not worried or anything, but it certainly doesn't bode well for his chances.  I've always maintained he was as close to a lock for the roster as possible as long as he wasn't awful, and so far, it looks like awful would be the best word to describe him.

I agree here. I always liked Correa. I'm not sure why that pick got so much heat. He might make the biggest impact of anyone from this class. I like the news of him moving around. Almost like a Jamie Collins maybe but a better rusher.

Not enough reps to draw any conclusions yet.  Seen plenty of film indicating Reynolds can catch........maybe he can't catch in full pads, but give him at least a couple days.  Same goes for KC. Hope he's as good as he just showed, but its early.

Training camp is here hallelujah! Last season felt like the worst dream any football fan could ever endure, so many losses, so many injuries and the wound still lingers with the pup list full of some of our best players still healing up.

 

Thank God a new season is upon us, and hopefully our Ravens can stay healthy and get back to winning and get back to the playoffs 

 

Eager to see how Kavell Conner mixes it up in camp, feel like he could be a solid rotational guy and a run D asset. He KC and Zach Orr should be a fun battle to watch for the ILB spot next to CJ. 

 

Also want to see how our DBs do, alot of new faces and alot of question marks in the secondary.  

 

And also I make a note every night to start my nightly prayers with asking the lord to bless Breshad Perriman with a full season of good health so we can finally see what our former 1st rder can do on the field. Hopefully he didn't lose his 4.3 wheels.

He was dropping balls yesterday as well and The Ravens players weren't wearing pads at all that day. Reynolds is totally new to the wide receiver position and I expected some growing pains  base off that alone.

Chris Moore - No injury to report here, but instead have heard rumor he received the day off for his stellar performance in practice yesterday!

Kc got heat for ONE reason. Familiarity. He wasn't Spence or jack so everyone threw a fit. 

Speaking of familiarity, I was beyond pissed we couldn't land cravens because I was certain that those trade backs were to move back up for him. If anyone sees news on how he looks that would be appreciated. Sorry its not ravens, just a big fan of the kid

KC playing some ILB and I got blasted when I said during the draft he could play ILB as much as SAM Backer in the NFL.

and my man Tavon Young doing great. Kinda sucks for the Reynolds story tho I wasn't a fan of drafting him... sure it was a nice story and everything but I didn't understand the football move.... risky move that could take time and there were some quality players still on the board at that time. Anyway he still has a month to build on things they might bury him on the IR for the next season to give him at least a year to learn the position and everything he seems like a very great man with a great work ethic and everything.

 

Nice to see some action after all. Now lets pray that we don't see any big time injuries
