Apparently it was SSS who went out and did some shopping for the costumes. Surprised the rookies with costumes to wear for their talent show. I also thought it was funny that the chicken suit was supposed to go all the way down to his ankles, but on him it cut off at the knee.

Had chicken feet/claws to go with it.

Good stuff - would have loved to have seen this.

I'm really hoping for a video to surface ?

Apparently the Ravens worked out Danny Lansanah yesterday, but it looks like we picked Kavell Conner over him.  Kind of disappointed in that as Lansanah was very good in 2014.  He took a bit of a step back last year, but I still think I would have opted for him over Conner.  Of course, I make this statement without seeing the workout and how either of them did.

Damn, what happened to Lansanah? He just seemed to fall off the face of the Earth for no reason.

I have a feeling that the Ravens are going to be kicking the tires on a lot of guys that manage to find themselves on the street that play ILB. If I am Albert McClellen or Arthur Brown I would be taking this as a clear message that guess what...you might not have a job soon.

As for Levine playing ILB...didn't think he'd be the guy to do that but I am all for it if he can do it. I thought he deserved a lot of credit for filling in at corner and playing rather well there when he was called on.

I wouldn't say it was for no reason. He turned 30 and he also suffered an ankle injury last season. Whether that injury slowed him down or not or it is simply age, or a combination of both, he became a liability in pass coverage. This is exactly what the Ravens are looking for in a new era linebacker and the same reason they let Smith walk and why Orr is so far the leading candidate for the job. Orr can cover and as long as he can still hold his own against run plays it is his job to lose.

I think McClellan knows he's here as a ST player and isn't a legit competitor for the starting ILB job.

Looks like KC might be the favorite to start at ILB next to Mosley.

I think KC is gonna be a real fan favorite when it's all said and done. I don't care where he's lined up, I think he's gonna be good. He's the speedy guy we have needed in our front seven.

To see that he's already making an impression has to be the best news today. I really didn't expect him to produce early, but if he does he's going to be a major part of our defense.

Also Chris Moore was quite involved in the offense today, nice to see Flacco is already trying to establish the connection and, same as KC, nice to see him carve out a role early.

Imagine if he pans out as a very good ILB. I mean id love to see him used as a 4-3 olb and at times as an edge rusher instead of solely a 3-4 ILB, but if thats where they put him and he excels.... we may have found 2 stud ILB's to man the center of the Ravens D for the next 10 years - Willis and Bowman style (lite... dont want the negative nancies on my case saying Mosley isnt on their level yet and that KC never will be)

People say guys like Upshaw are easy to find but I disagree, run stoppers are easy to find, edge setters who are stronger than most RTs but are also instinctive in shallow coverage are not easy to find

Pass rush is obviously more valuable and ZDS is a major upgrade there, but I don't think he can handle upshaws job. I don't think we have anyone who can honestly.

I think bowman was a bit better than Willis, at least more value because of coverage ability, and I think both of them compare favorably to bowman.

Yup, my opinion too, but ZDS is the closest to Upshaw in terms of size and upper body strength, so given time I believe he will end up a very good edge setter. He won't cover but will make up for it with better pass rush. Also, while Upshaw was a 2down OLB mostly, ZDS versatility will help him stay on the field. Just pointing out some details to the answer.

I'm definitely not sure there. Not that I have seen enough of Bowman to judge, but Mosley has room for improvement and KC, well has yet to take the field at this position if you except some snaps at Boise.

Also, they'll probably never have Willis' leadership.

Talking strictlly measurables

Like you certainly can't say a rookie is better than bowman or willis, which I never implied, just that they are both rangy linebackers who can still bring the wood.

Good to know that anything you write in regards to Ozzie is done w/ an extreme negative bias.  Way to show your hand.

Oh...I'm not gonna write "Newsome must go just because".......If there is any such thing as a bias upon facts and evidence I will be the author of it.  Prepare yourself for a factual avalanche when the season results begin to roll in, because I will be lobbying for Newsome's removal during the 1st game of the season when the events warrant and every game in each and every questionable play by his selections and signings until the year is out.  This will be the year.  Because the evidence already indicates for the Raven's to move forward, Newsome must go.

What many here do not realize is that eventually, all things merge into one and Newsome runs through it.  That is true of any G.M.

Despite our disappointment with Upshaw, agree that he will not be replaced "easily" but do think they will push ZDS to that role and see if he can produce some sacks while at it.

Breshad Perriman cut his dreads.  I guess this can be training camp news lol

It's a better look for him considering he was balding at the front.

We have our first fight...

Buck Allen vs Patrick Onwuasor!

Also, Crockett is the only one who didn't finish practice.

Onwuasor is doing himself no favors.  Late hit on Dixon yesterday.  Fighting today.  I guess you could say the intensity is nice, but it's not a good thing when you tacked on 2 would-be personal fouls in the first 2 days of camp.

Sounds like Chris Moore is wreaking havoc on the long ball right now.  Lots of compliments for him on Twitter.

CB Jimmy Smith seemed to struggle on numerous reps today. Smith gave up several short routes and also was out jumped by Kamar Aiken on Rec

really like the sound of this.

Again, been saying it - he's not blazing fast like youd expect from someone whose expertise is the long ball, but the guy is just deceptively fast and knows how to set a DB up to beat him deep.

Promising that even if Perriman and Wallace struggle, we've got another option having success. We will have a deep threat this year.

Tavon Young picked off Mallet twice today. Nice to see him making plays.

T. West supposedly ran the ball well but struggled in pass protection.
