Well I set that Perriman return before/after at Wednesday.

Everyone was easily taking the after... But I went before. The mans off the PUP and should be ready to roll.

I just can't believe it. With some of the posts I read, I could have sworn he was on life support and unlikely to ever walk again let alone play football. It's a miracle!!

but on a serious note, he does have to get through an entire practice. That's the first step. Let's hope it's smooth sailing for him now. Would be really nice to see him get some reps in either PS3 or PS4.

Really really excited to see what the kid can do. Pulling for him.

If he doesn't practice, I don't see him playing. I imagine he'll get a few snaps in the final game, but not many.

Just not sure if he's quite "good enough" to justify using your IRDTR spot on.

They used the IRDTR on Urban last year, I don't see why they wouldn't use it on Elam.

Reading on Twitter that Perriman is still not cleared for practice and must pass his conditioning test.

I thought I read he passed the conditioning test, but wasn't cleared for full contact practice.

I'm sure they would, but they may decide to use it on Pitta now.

Personally, I'm not one of the people excited about Pitta's return but the coaches seem to be

I don't think they'll use it on Pitta. I think if this were regular season Pitta would be playing.

i think he'll be back later this week or next. Can't see him going on IR.

Why would they take him of PUP if he wasn't cleared to practice yet? Maybe full contact was the key phrase there.

Just don't see any reason that if he can't yet perform why they'd take the PUP distinction off him. Is there some deadline approaching where if he's still on he has to stay on an extended period of time?

Regardless, I think he's on the field tomorrow even if it's just individual drills and maybe 7on7s.

They did the same with SSS.  Released him off PUP last week, but wasn't slated to start full practices until today.  They're having practice this afternoon, so we'll see what he can do.  Harbs stated that if he's cleared to play, he wants him playing this week.

I believe the reason Perriman isn't cleared for full contact is they want to ease him in and make sure he's in shape.  He'll participate in walk throughs and probably the team drills, but not full contact until next week or the following week I'd guess.

I'd say there's basically no chance he'll get to play in the pre-season game this weekend, but I'd guess there's a much better chance that he'll play a quarter or a half in the last pre-season game on Sept 1, as that will give him 10 days to get in shape before going out to test the knee in game conditions.

Give it a break fellas! He's trying really hard and there's not much more you can ask of a player. Perriman's no Monroe.

I was referring to myself...my handle? Not Perriman. I am glad he's back and I want to see him in action, but not before he's absolutely ready. Let's hope all the fluke stuff is a thing of the past now.

I'm nervous about Perrimean practicing lol

Aren't we all? I'm scared for him. I'd consider put him in bubble wrap, but even then I'm not too sure that would protect him. :(

i agree that he's not good (or important) enough for ir boomerang (as proved by urban being chosen for recall ahead of him) but surely the hope is that he's the only candidate because everyone else has been healthy all season :)...

You're right it was KC.  BC Flacco got in KC's face afterwards.

Flacco got in KC's face after he leveled Wallace crossing the middle, not after the Pitta scrum.....he just joked Pitta.

I just saw an article in RSR where they were predicting the final 53 and Maxx Williams had IR next to his name. Has anybody heard anything about his injury?

Probably just useless speculation.

Just looked at it. He has Pitta making the team and at this point I just don't see that happening. No way they IR a guy who is young and talented for a guy who can't get on the field with injury concerns. I could see Boyle getting an IR. He seems to have some bad choices across the board.

I'm happy for Perriman. Nervous, sure. But, overall I'm just happy that he's going to get another shot. I'm sure the dude has been beside himself over all of this. Anyone who has played competitive sports, or takes part in any sport, knows it's crushing to be injured. If you've been there, you know how tough it can be getting over the mental hump. Perriman has the cards staked against him, he's been dealt two major setbacks, injuries to both knees, loss of helpful reps, and on top of that the fanbase has marred the poor kid in "bust" terminology.

I hope he balls out, and makes a lot of people eat their words. Gotta make it through practice first, but he's gonna get his shot and that's a huge step forward for his head.

Even if these are jokes that's kinda messed up.  Its not like he's Campanaro, he's actually been facing serious injuries

I'm scared for him too. I want both of these guys available so I'm knocking on wood.

Senior, Wallace, Aiken, Camp and BP would be a nightmare for opposing defenses. My goodness, I hope this is the year our WR group can stay intact

We don't have to make a decision on Boyle because he is suspended for 10 games so he doesn't take up a roster spot he will go to the suspended list until week 12 then we have to make a decision.
