I would vote that 4th qtr against the Steelers, Pats, or Broncos in the playoffs is a bit more stressful than either... but that doesnt happen EVERY year (just most), but i agree after that.

On that note...

Two pieces of Ravens news: WR Mike Wallace didn't pass conditioning test today. He could get another shot before Thurs practice.

Also, Jake Long didnt immediately pass his physical. Visiting Dr. Andrews now.

Flacco to wear knee brace all TC and regular season.

Also alluded the possibility of not seeing Flacco at all in the preseason.

I suspect this will be the case for many guys (Suggs, Smith Sr, Doom, etc.)

They typically run the conditioning test by position groups.  If they're done and Wallace was the only one that failed, I'm impressed.

Wallace isn't the first to fail and won't be the last. Not a complete non-issue, but certainly not that big of a deal considering this test's history.

The first minor roster moves of camp.

Conner is pretty much a 2 down guy at ILB.  He could factor into the roster equation but he's more than likely a camp body.

Collins has bounced all over the CFL and his max number of receptions in a season is 29, so that's an interesting signing considering he was a borderline option up there.

Doesn't that put us at 91?  Someone's gotta go.

Waived/injured Jumal Rolle and cut Cavellis Luckett.

The key word of what I've said was the offseason, but I agree as well.

We have guys fail and pass the 2nd test every year. Its a notorious conditioning test and I think free agent signings from creampuff disastrous organizations are most likely to fail. Wallace will be reacclimated to the north soon enough

Funny...could have sworn Castillo was correcting him on his footwork in that rookie camp clip, with clip being the operative word.  There was a lot more video of rookie camp taken, what you saw and misheard was edited.  Then again, maybe you've seen even more of the cut film than I have and heard Castillo praising his footwork in additional film that hit the editing room floor.

I'll give you that. As someone who once played offensive line, those three clips look very bad. He was slow off the ball and his punch was freaking horrible.

But it was only, what, three plays in an unpadded practice. Let's overreact and panic.

Also, yes Castillo was correcting him. Do we expect rookies to have flawless fundamentals? Coaches are there to coach.

He said himself that we will know what Stanley is come week 4. Of course he does.

Absolutely

I promised to not beat up on Stanley while he's working hard to be his best and until he has a chance to demonstrate the results of his skill and hard work.  That will be the Buffalo game.  The kid gloves come off week 1.

But I've said all along, he's carrying the weight of the franchise on his shoulders and regardless of the outcome he should be applauded for his courage.

He will undoubtedly do his best, but I've also said if Stanley does fail, the failure is not his. It will belong to Newsome and DeCosta. To miss @ selection 6 with the Ravens in a dire state will not be tolerated. It will be inexcusable.

For clarity, despite what is reported out of our Front Office, Stanley was NOT our first choice.  In his wisdom Newsome wanted the FSU corner/safety, can't remember his name, but he wouldn't offer enough. Subsequently, they were eager to trade back, but no one offered enough either. The reports were that Stanley was then top of the Oz Board, but that was clearly in regard to players they projected being available at selection six.  They had their chance but meandered. Now post draft politics are not unlike political parties spinning the facts to their way of liking.  What is reported is calculated.

Ozzie tried to trade up to the 4th spot w/ Dallas to get Jalen Ramsey.  Jerry Jones wanted too much to move up two spots so Ozzie declined.  I'm sure you probably would have found a way to complain if Ozzie did give up 3 picks to move up 2 spots.  Ozzie can't win w/ you, can he?

Good to know that anything you write in regards to Ozzie is done w/ an extreme negative bias.  Way to show your hand.

Thank you kindly.

TC IS HERE! Thank goodness. Some actual football to talk about. Pads can be put on. Everyone is reporting.

So whats everyone most excited about? Flacco for me - seeing how confident he is in that knee.

Dixon - seeing how he runs behind the line with contact.

Kaufusi - getting the first glimpses at him. His short area quickness is world class. I check in to a Seahawks blog every now and again, and many of the members there i respect the most wanted this guy bad... even talked about getting him in the 1st or trading back into the early 2nd and snagging him there. They likened him a lot to Bruce Irvin - not as an apples to apples pick - but as a guy who wasnt expected to go that high, who was an athletic specimen especially his burst and quickness, that would be questioned at the time of the pick but ultimately everyone would realize that the Seahawks know better than most. Thats the kind of guy they think Kaufusi is. So, im excited about him - big time.

And the pass rush. With Suggs and Doom both out we're gonna get a lot of opportunity to see Correa, Judon, Ochi, maybe some Kaufusi/Urban and of course my man Big Z. Love it.
