Manziel has absolutely nothing to offer us on the field. Manziel was going to have to put in serious work just to be a starting QB in the league to overcome his defects as a QB (Unpredictable, Undersized with Poor vision), he did not do that.

If we want a talent in the slot position as a receiver that can throw the football (as per the OP), we drafted one in Keenan Reynolds who is better suited for that position, the fact being he is tougher and a better competitor.

Manziel still has a lot of football in him.  He creates positive yardage passing and running the football whenever he is on the field.  Ravens could use Manziel's talents in the slot position as a receiver that can throw the football.  Not just for gimmick plays, but to make the Ravens offense more prolific and less risk to Joe (running for first downs).  Manziel under Ravens coaching staff, could amplify this offense.  Get over the knee-jerk reaction of this proposal and think about the advantages of this versatile player.  Some team will sign him for a song, why not the Ravens?

Theres an identical post on each teams' fan forums.... Starting to think Johnny himself made user accounts and is putting feelers out there to see if any fanbase thinks its a good idea, so he can then take it to management like, "see your fans want me... you dont want to upset the fans do you?? Especially not that brilliant one that suggested signing me... hes probably your best fan ever."

Johnny. Get off our boards, please. It is 5 oclock somewhere, and you're running late.

Pretty much this.  We need humor breaks, too.

And the best part is, its not a suggestion to sign him to be a QB... its for slot receiver, lol. That just gets me... the guy is terrible at the position hes played his whole life, but hes just magically going to turn into a slot receiver and be useful??

While we're at it, lets get Jamarcus Russell on the phone to play O-Line. I mean, he's big and was athletic so itll work. And the coaching staff is being silly by having Trent Richardson play RB while we have this hole at ILB... put him there - problem solved.

This is easy.... have a hole on your team? Take a raw talented player at another position who has flamed out of the league, bring him in to play at the position you have a hole even though he has no experience even if his skillset doesnt translate whatsoever and viola! Super Bowl here we come!!!

I used the position change item in Madden MUT and it worked wonders, so all our coaching staff has to do is use the real NFL position change item... makes sense, right?

Crap I didn't see that. I'm guessing someone saw that Browns trick play that was called back and thought it was clever as a routune play

Well, actually we do.

On an opposing team.

It is a shame Johnny and Sizzle never really met properly.

I just don't know what to say about the concept of sign Manziel personally I would prefer the Ravens to sign Greg Hardy and no I am not suggesting that I am just saying I think Hardy is not as much of a  knucklehead as Manziel with a lot more upside. The Ravens just don't need any distractions on or off the field. SO NO ON SIGN MANZIEL!!!

It still amazes me that Manziel was picked over Bridgewater and Carr. Quite possibly the worst first round in Browns' history.

Yeah, seriously. They could have left that draft with Carr or Bridgewater throwing to OBJ or Evans if they used their picks well. Instead they got a bust of a corner and Manziel. That's missing the mark by such an extreme it shouldn't be possible.

Moderators,

Does this contend with the least liked post ever?

now to the subject. I wouldn't have a problem with Manziels character issues if he was as good as the hype suggested coming out. If he was partying like a crazy man and still balling out on a high level it would be pretty fun to watch. However, he's a wreck all over the place, but i would totally watch him on an episode of that show intervention.

Don't forget they could've had Julio or Jj Watt in 11 and traded down to select Phil Taylor.  Then in 12 they missed out some bum name Luke Kuechly to draft the next Jim Brown, in Trent Richardson.  I look at their position and their picks and honestly get upset at how fortunate they are to have they picks.  The problem is, they are so inept they can't do anything with them.  If the Browns had hit on even 50% of these 1st rounders recently, they would have a monster squad.

I think the worst I've seen was somewhere around -100 or - 120s, but might be wrong.  It was impressive.
