I'm glad that Ozzie finally came to his senses and bent for Tucker at the end.. Nice...

Both sides came to an agreement.. Which is a compromise. Ozzie never came to his senses he knew what he was doing. Deals would not get done if it weren't for deadlines.

I'm glad Tucker is going to be a Raven till 2019. However, I think we overpaid a bit for his services. Just my view. I would have liked it to be a million less than what he got over 4 yrs. I would have also liked far less guaranteed money because with kickers its always about confidence and not the strength of their leg. We've seen it in the past with Cundiff. We signed him to an extension worth 10M and then NE happened and he was gone the next training camp, sent home by Tucker! I love Tucker and the fact that he is a Raven but I thought I would express my thoughts honestly whether anyone agrees with me or not.

I agree the Ravens made a bold move with this contract.. It may bite them later on or it may be a good value in 3 years. Kickers will only be payed more and more with them deciding many games. Insane to look at how much kickers are getting payed now for only seeing limited snaps.

"Im not going to sign with the Ravens unless I get a long term contract" Big cry baby. He got his money as everyone knew he would. He didn't have to be a drama queen about it.

that was his agent talking.

Tucker is confident enough to kick from anywhere and Harbs believes in him enough to let him try. A lot of his misses I can remember seem like not only were they 50+, but there were some 55 yarders in there that most teams wouldn't even attempt. Justin lets us be more aggressive on special teams, this signing was a no brainer.

Great point.

People complaining his percentage was down on kicks of 50+ last year don't realize just that, because of weather, whatever, most other teams wouldn't even try those kicks, so yeah, he might miss a few.

Well done, Justin, well done Ravens. Great news!

don't forget the one where his leg got swallowed in Oakland.

We definitely breathed a big sigh of relief over here. I'd love to see him end up a Raven for life if he can keep his numbers up, and this is a great start!

You can guarantee it was his agent's idea at a bluff to make sure he was signed today, it's way too out of character for Justin.

I sure hope so. I would hate to think otherwise as well.
