Counting down teams based on average draft position.

A guy counted down the best teams of the last ten years based on average draft position.

From best to worst the Ravens were 4th, with an average draft position of 22nd over the last ten years.

Is it slotted draft position or actual draft position? Ravens like to run around the board, Patriots get their picks forfeited for cheating.

Slotted. Basically just pointing out the obvious correlation that the later your slotted draft position, the better you finished the previous year. So the team with the highest average slotted draft position, has on average gone the furthest over the past 10 years.

Probably a better way of looking at it than wins, bc theres the teams like the Bengals who rack up regular season wins but lose in the playoffs where then a team like the Ravens could finish 9-7 but advance 2 rounds in the playoffs. The 12-4 Bengals would look better in win total, but the 9-7 Ravens would draft later and therefore get a better mark for that year in this type evaluation.
