Forbes says the Ravens are the world’s 27th most valuable sports franchise at $1.93 billion. Ravens rank No. 8 in offseason spending. Tom Brady’s last option to overturn his suspension is the Supreme Court.

SSS only does things one way so if he is on the field, then he is in tip top shape.

The only reason Brady keeps this up is because he thinks he can continue to drag the NFL through the mud and muck and since his reputation is shot (caught cheating twice and won super bowls both times) he doesn't care. He also wants to drag it out in hopes that he can get through this year and perhaps retire next year. If he serves his suspension this year, then he may play another 2 or 3 years, but if he gets his suspension put on hold by the Supreme Court while they decide if they will hear it, then he may play out this year and retire next and never have to serve his time. I only say that because if it was me, that's what I would do. Think about it, Brady's wife has a higher income than he does. If I was him, I would be a stay at home daddy, not have to deal with Goodell again, and retire a multiple Super Bowl champion (cheated twice(at least)).

Take it easy SSS.  IMO, he doesn't need to play in any preseason games. He has until Sept 11th to continue to rehab and only practice with the team. Glad there's no joint team practices this year.

Lots of things to worry about this year... SSS is not one of them!

LOL, should always be worried about an older receiver coming off a major injury that often significantly reduces production from players, especially WRs.

The depth that we have behind him makes the worry a bit lighter, but if Steve struggles this season, it really shouldn't surprise anybody.

Like to see Judon going at it hard in the off time. Thats the kind of guy that sticks around... not a guarantee he turns into a star player or anything, but seems like a guy thats willing to do anything to make the team and contribute.

I think he recognizes hes a bit behind the 8ball in terms of experience playing at this level compared to other guys, so hes gonna try to outwork people. Thats a good start.

Shouldn't surprise anybody if he balls out either- goin out with one more 1000 yard season to his resume. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Yea, I feel like if he didn't think he could fully come back from this he would've retired.

Well its more of just another player not wanting to end their career on an injury.

The reality is that, unlike previous seasons with this team, he's actually now got legitimate competition for snaps. We know that, even as far back as last offseason, the Ravens were seriously interested in reducing his playing time, and that was coming off an 80 catch, 1000 yard season.

Almost certainly no training camp for him, highly possible he misses all of the preseason, and guys like Aiken are chomping at the bit for that spot.

Regardless of toughness or experience, I'm certainly not expecting him to just walk onto the field in September and dominate. If we are needing or expecting the kind of output from him that we got the last two seasons, frankly, something's gone terribly wrong with our offense. Would most likely involve a 2013-esque version of underachieving players, injuries, and in inability to run the ball.

it seems to me our Supreme Court has more pressing problems than Brady and his balls.

We need to pay Tucker - how is this even a debate FO? He's single handedly made up for our atrocious OC's and lack of offensive playmakers. I for one would not want to waste time on the position only to settle for another Cundiff (btw are we still paying him?).

How quickly memories go by... Few of us seem to remember the season before Cundiff did what proved to be is undoing in Baltimore... It seems so far now that in 2010, Cundiff was actually among the best kickers in the NFL, with one of the longest active streaks of made FG's, an all-time NFL record in touchbacks - and it was cause for celebration in Ravens Nation when his contract was extended after the season... So much about "another Cundiff"...

"He's single handedly made up for our atrocious OC's and lack of offensive playmakers."

What??? I know Tucker is an awsome guy - and a good kicker.. but let's not mke him Superman please. In 2015, Tucker was #23 in overall FG percentage... and, although he's gained some fame as having a knack for converting long atempts, he was #28 in FG percentage from over 50 yards, and #25 in Longest FG made... Yep, ha had better stats too, but mostly those that NFL kickers are usually expected to do well - like short-mid distance FG's and touchbacks.

I'm not trying to "attack" Tucker here, I just don't think we should see him as someone without whom we are doomed. No. He's a great kicker and an even greater guy who's surely great to have around - but the Baltimore Ravens didn't crumble when we lost Matt Stover... and be sure we won't crumble if Tucker elects to walk after the season. Yep, maybe we won't find a replacement who's as good as he is (though we could end up with a better one, you never know). But tucker has made an elementary mistake IMHO: you never threaten your GM. You don't try to corner him. The last time a player tried a power move on Ozzie was Haloti - and two weeks later he was looking for a house in Detroit...

But let's not move a whole season ahead. It may merely be a low move from his agent, it may be something said in an unfortunate moment, he may quickly change his mind until March 2017... What players and their agents say in relation to contract talks can change overnight... Just remember what Von Miller and his agent said since the Super Bowl - how "I will play in Denver in 2016 period" turned to "I want this-and-that percentage guaranteed" to the current "I will sit out the entire season if no deal is reached" - just to eventually sign the contract and say all the nicest thing about the organization and especially Elway later today... These tour-de-forces are part of the business.

And if Tucker stands behind this threat... then we'll have a new kicker in 2017. As I said: you don't threaten your GM. You don't try to corner Ozzie.

And the same applies to Sizzle.

This will probably be our "Pernell Mcphee/Darnell Ellerbe" type of pick for us. I see Judon as a high value, highly productive player in the future.

He is a motivated freak of athlete!
