Who's the one player you want to make the 53

Does seem rare for flacco to go through all his targets and the third is usually a short dump pass.

I also would be surprised to see a wr or TE put up crazy stats. With a team full of "good" pass catchers, we should and most likely will spread the ball around often.

I wanna see Will Davis make the team. Even though it was only a very small sample size, I was really impressed with the energy and technique he played with last season. I know the Ravens have made some additions to the position but I think Davis could be a long term piece to the puzzle. He just turned 26 so I think he's still young enough to overcome the major knee injuries he's suffered in his career. I definitely want to see how this kid handles himself this year.

My go to for the past couple years has been Jeremy Butler, I think this board sleeps on him too much. He's in the mold of Aiken - UDFA, big, reliable hands, good body control - and with all the speed we have at the wideout position this year we could use another guy to abuse the middle of the field, and between him and Aiken I'm not sure who's better after the catch, I'm tempted to give Butler the edge. After being activated from the PS last year he gave a glimpse of what he's capable of given the chance. With Camp never being healthy I think Butler has a very, very good chance of beating him out for a spot.

My second choice has to be Taliaferro. If the guy could just stay healthy then I think he'd be a very good back by now. Not a fast guy but he's very quick hitting the hole when he sees it and brings good power to the run game - he's very similar to Alfred Morris. But there's no double standard here, I say all the time that Camp shouldn't make the team because it doesn't matter how good you are if you're never on the field, the same should be true of all players including Tali. Our backfield is loaded and it'll be interesting to see how it shakes out, can we afford to carry 4? I'm not so sure but if we go with Forsett, Buck, and Dixon, we are sort of missing a power/short yardage back (Dixon brings some power but he's definitely not a short yardage back),  It really sucks to sit back and watch Forsett come in on short yardage situations and get stuffed 90% of the time.

I think Davis has a really good shot, we don't have many outside corners behind Smith and Wright - and I know Canady has been impressing but I won't be comfortable with him being #3 on the depth chart. He played good in his very, very small sample size, he's worth giving a shot and I'd wager he will make the final 53,

Sheldon Price will be ahead of Canady for sure. I think Davis and Price battle for that spot.

I don't even see Davis being on the bubble. If he's healthy I see him as practically a lock. I'm excited to see what he can do as well.

I really doubt that. I think Canady has been really underrated here. I haven't seen his tape at Virginia but I saw his one on ones at the Senior Bowl, and he was purely the best CB in those drills. He basically shut everyone down. If anything, it shows potential.

The deciding factor will be Special Team production.

Price practiced w/ the 1st team during OTAs and mini camp in place of J. Smith.  That says something.

Price played all mini camp and OTAs with the ones. Thats ahead of Tavon, Canady, Powers, Arrington, Rolle, Wilson and Brown.

And no one else really even rotated in. Right now Price is the #3 on the outside and Davis is the only one i think that can overtake him. Canady may have looked good running with the 2's or 3's, but in TC hes gonna get the whole dose of the defense which is going to set him back even further behind than he currently is to Price and Davis... as both of them already have experience in and know the defense.

I like Canady as a project, but hes probably the last guy on the depth chart if he makes it. Powers and Davis are firmly ahead of him, and Harbs puts a big emphasis on experience.... especially at corner, rookies (even more so late round rookies) rarely play.

We should clarify that Powers, Young, and Arrington are all slot corners, so they wouldn't really pose a threat.

He's out for the season w/ a ruptured achilles.

Not to mention out of the 3 left mentioned, 2 are rookies in Canady and UDFA Sam Brown, and the last one is Julian Wilson who is practically a rookie too considering he was on IR since well before preseason last year
