This is the news Michael Campanaro did not want to hear.

Exactly what I was thinking, only question is does the FO want to try to keep both or take the risk of going into the season with a rookie and questionable depth?

Both are local so i root for both, but like i have said before, Reynolds vision as a runner, and his ability to pick up the offense, and be a decent route runner so far just gives him the edge IMO.....I could easily see him as a 3rd down back as well, and line up as a QB, just to mess with defenses minds....

All valid points. BUT if he cannot play the WR spot I cannot see him lasting very long. IMO he CAN play and play it well.

This is a guy I want to see touch the football, in whatever form, function, or position. He can be a gamechanger, and we need that kind of talent on the field. Hopefully he wont have to ride the pines for 3 years before he gets his chance to shine

Right now we seem to have a log-jam at several positions... I'm guessing injuries, old and new, may settle some of these questions.

Another advantage for Reynolds IMO is having played QB, he has had to be able to recognize coverage, on passing downs, and i think that is what made Hines Ward successful, he always had a good idea of when to break off routes, when to take a route inside or out, and Hines was as tough as they came as far as taking on contact....Reynolds has taken more than his fare share of hits as a option QB as well....I'm biased because i always love the military, especially Navy, although my son is Army.....:)

I wish Reynolds the best, but haven't we been down this road to many times before. That road being the one how everybody looks good and makes plays in a jersey and shorts.

That, and the NFL's substance abuse policy.

I would really like to see him succeed.  He is a NAVY man which indicates an honorable college system and personal integrity from him.  On the other side of the coin, Waller did not protect his position in the final 53.  Boyle is suspended 10 games.  I would not be surprised if Reynolds is accepted and Campanero given another chance to be in the 53.thunfair dismissla.jpg

I haven't followed pro ball since my Cardinals left St. Louis. But if Keenan makes the roster, I'll be watching every Sunday, with my Ravens jersey on. Go Keenan and go Ravens!

my thoughts are that he'll make our roster because our FO knows there is no other way we can hang on to him. He will not make it through waivers. This is Mike Camp's last season of eligibility on the practice squad, and he is far more likely to pass under the radar. My guess is that he gets stashed while Keenan gets kept on the 53.

I am so proud of our team to choose a Navy Man. I'll bet SSS will show him the "ropes". All of us can't wait for the season to begin.

I once liked and followed the StL Cardinals too.I'm talking about the Neil Lomax days However, my appetite for this sport had never waned, even after the December debacle in Miami

I hope this guy becomes our Antonio Brown. Or would Antwan Randaell be a better comparison since he was a QB in college?
