After not speaking with the media during minicamp, several big questions remain for the Ravens veteran. Baltimore is counting on Suggs to be productive, even though it's developing a new generation of outside linebackers.

Terrell is usually very outspoken with the press. I am confused. Why is he so quiet. I'm sure he has his reasons. Maybe he needs more time to be 100% and doesn't want to be distracted.

Just let Sizzle alone. Just maybe he plans on letting his play speak for him and that's why he is waiting so long to speak. I am just guessing someone in the media mis-spoke or said something that just was not all the way true about Suggs and he just wants to be left alone. It's sad but even some of the the sports media has become untruthful at times just for a story.

I agree. He will speak when he wants. Leave him alone. In my mind he is itching to have a great year. He is focused on being the best he can be on the field. If you are still in doubt on how valuable he is to the team, look at how different we were in the Denver game last year defensively, and how we were the rest of the year .

You can say that again and it made it where Doom had a rough year. Together Sizzle and Doom can really disrupt an offense. Last year the defense struggled without Sizzle and I am not saying they did not try they played their butts off they just always came up short. Then with all the other injuries through the season it was a bad year for the Ravens.

I'm just holding out hope that Suggs and SSS come out refreshed and healthy and ready to go. I think John Harbaugh needs to be very smart with their snaps and work them in slowly but surely making sure they're their best in December, January. I think he should take the same approach with all injured veterans that are coming back. Limit their snaps and increase their playing time as the season winds down.

I know the NFL is famously a "what have you done for me lately" league, so even a Suggs-caliber icon won't be kept on an NFL roster because of his past achievments - but I sure hope like hell Sizzle has still left a coupel of seasons in him. Because he is the only remaining Raven from the legendary golden period of the Ravens D. When Ray Lewis retired, we were sad of course, because we lost The Legend - but we knew we still had Ed Reed, Ngata and Suggs. When Reed wasn't retained, we were sad, of course, because we lost The Other Legend - but we knew we still have Ngata and Suggs. When Ngata was tgraded, we were sad, because we lost an iconic player - but we knew we still have Suggs.

When Suggs is no more a Raven, what will we say?

I'd go as far as saying that the last steelers-game with Suggs still on the field will be the last true Ravens-steelers rivalry game. Without Ray, Ed, Ngata, JJ, Bart Scott, Suggs it's just not gonna be the same old rivalry :(

In fact, there was an eveident change in his tone as early as the sart of last trainig camp. Instead of the "usual", joking-sarcastic and very confident Suggs, we saw at his presser a philosophical, almost melancholic guy, who, instaed of what the nbext season will be like, kept talking about that maybe it would be his last season... He definitely seemed like a player who had just been hit by the realization that his career might end real soon...

I was just thinking the same things, losing his linebacker coach also took a toll on suggs.

I don't think Suggs silence is hard to understand at all. He is the fan appointed leader of a team that just went 5-11, possibly the worst season of his career. He played one game, had no stats to speak of and basically took upon his shoulders the disappointment of the fan base in him and the team. He had to sit and watch probably the most painful, both physically and psychologically, season he ever has had to watch and was helpless to alter the results. Now we expect him to stand up in front of the mike and be lambasted with questions about every failure he and the team suffered through last year. And who here wonders why he is in no hurry to do that? In your job, you just had the worst year in your sales career, the company is faltering, your department especially stank and how eager would you be to go in and talk to the board of directors, especially if you had the option to postpone it, hoping something will come up, will transpire that takes the attention to last year's failures away. What Suggs is banking on is the excitement you get during training camp where all last year's failures and errors are forgotten in the excitement of the possibility of success this year. The team made some incredible moves this past year and there is a lot of excitement for an offense who has the most weapons in the history of the Ravens and the free agent signing of Weddle brings hope to the defensive side of the ball. Suggs will blow off questions regarding last year and his comments will focus on preparation to make 2016 a super bowl year. No, Suggs silence is no surprise at all, not knowing how clever and intelligent Suggs is.

He may not be very motivated to play with his teammates retired and ngata playing for a different team.

I do recall now what you are saying and maybe he is thinking that the end of his football career is near. He is nearly as old as my father and my father still plays baseball so who knows.

Sizzle will come back and end his career the way he wants, this year, I have no doubt. That's a big thing to know you're going to put all the years you've put into something, into this last year to go out with a bang but also know that coming off an injury and being older puts that doubt in your mind that it could all go south in a hurry as well. Gotta be tough but Suggs is too so I feel pretty good he's setting his legacy this season and he's focused. We'll get his best work, I'm sure.

Maybe hes keeping a low profile and not talking to the press for dramatic effects. He loves to keep us guessing and his silence is louder right now than any info he could give us.

thats how all veterans handle training camps after going through the wars.he's always did alot on his own, like harbaugh says.if he says he's ready he's ready to go.i wouldn't read to much into it.

Seem to me Mr. Suggs is wearing out his welcome in Baltimore with his personal problems off the field then keeping his mind on his family and job, cause the two do not go together, We already know how great he is when healthy, and we are waiting for the real T Sizzle to put all his problems behind him and start all pver again in his maybe last hurrah , Time to be that Raven again Mr. Suggs

First of all, I'm VERY surprised that Suggs was in Baltimore doing his rehab during the offseason.  To me that says a lot about his commitment to getting back to top physical shape. His note to the media, was something we've never seen from Suggs before.  In the past he's never missed an opportunity to comment in front of a live mic.  I think what we're seeing is a more mature Suggs who knows his career is almost over and he wants to go out on the top.  Of course all of this is speculation on my part, but based off Suggs' note to media and Dumervil's comment regarding Suggs, I think he's going to be just fine.

Well said and I agree. Fortunately we have the depth to do it as well drafting several pass rushers and bringin in another veteran receiver. Suggs has had a lot of time to rehab seeing as how it happened week 1 so as long as he hasn't been slacking he should come back fresh and ready to tear it up. Not worried at all about forsett and I think His legs will also be extra fresh.

Ok gang.....enough of all the Suggs concerns. Suggs is just being Suggs...only a bit more mature......but make no mistake, Suggs is fine. Rehab is going as planned and he will be, with Doom, a force.....
As to what after Suggs? Somebody else will step up.....we had an injury riddled season.....happens
