Favorite Raven of All-Time

70 posts in this topic

It should say, favorite Raven of all time not named Ray Lewis or Ed Reed. Reed is my favorite Raven of all time. But not counting those 2, I'd have to say Suggs. But I did love Derrick Mason. I also loved Anquan Boldin, even though he was only here a couple years.

I was coming here to say Derrick Mason. I forget which game it was, but he had tore his shoulder up somehow, but still had a huge game catching balls with one arm. That game and the game Yanda played a couple days after ankle surgery and had the bloody sock are two games they should show rookies what it is to be a raven.

I've been campaigning for years to put Derrick Mason in the Ring Of Honor. The toughness he played with, he helped develop Joe Flacco, 6 years here and he had 4 1,000 yard seasons, and the other 2 were over 900 and 800. He's the best WR in Ravens franchise history. I also think Chris McAlister should be considered as well.

Lewis was the reason I got into football but Reed was my favorite overall. Best playmaker I've ever seen and definitely one of a kind talent

Yeah, McAlister should definitely be in the ring of honor. The guy would match up with some of the best receivers in the league like Torrey Holt, Moss, and TO, and would shut them down.

While he's not the best player in Ravens' history, I'll go with Flacco. Always been a fan of his personality.

Ed Reed has to be my favorite Raven of all time. He was just so exciting to watch man! And so gifted and fun off the field as well. Perhaps one of the greatest Baltimore Raven along with Lewis and Ogden.

No one was better than Ed Reed in his prime.

I'm one of the few that believed he was a better safety in 2013 than anyone we had on the field and that he still would have been our best safety in 2014 as well.

It's hard to go against Ray Lewis, after all I was building Franchises on Madden before Ed Reed entered the pictured.

But Ed Reed was my must watch, every time we went against P.Manning or T.Brady, I always hung onto my seat waiting and hoping for Ed Reed to change the game in our favor.

Outside of those 2, a couple of other personal favorites of mine were McAllister & P.Boulware I wish he had several more healthy years opposite Suggs.
