This whole time I was thinking that Ronnie Stanley was Osemele's replacement. Now I'm learning that there is no replacement for Osemele, these guys we have running this team really expect one of the backups we've had to step in and protect Flacco to the same caliber as Osemele????? Fire Coach Harbaugh ASAP

"Ravens have proven playmaking receivers like Mike Wallace. Smith Sr. will be back and Breshad Perriman will finally be ready to play"
- Sarah Ellison

Me: I thought Breshad was done for?

lol, wow..... Jensen played with fire last year when he was asked to step in. My money is on Alex Lewis though. You know you are talking about the same coaches and recruiters that found KO in the first place right?

Camp "Highlights" are laughable. Interesting how everybody can make plays in a jersey and shorts.

Your name implies you've been a Ravens fan since '03...I'm just wondering from your posts when you stopped being a Ravens fan?

Stanley is replacing KO. If we had resigned KO it would have been to play LT. But with KO sliding to LT, someone wouldve had to step up at LG anyways.

It took Osemele 3 years as a starter to become a very talented LG.   Why do you think the backup who replaces him is automatically going to be the same caliber as Osemele?  Did you forget that the front office made an offer to retain Osemele?

First Harbaugh doesn't make the personnel decisions Ozzie does, so does that mean we should fire Ozzie? Second, Osemele was one of the premier guards in the league and we couldn't afford to sign him. To do so would have meant we would not have signed Weddle, Watson and Wallace. Last, you are aware that Osemele missed time in 2014 and Uerschel replaced him with little to no loss and when Osemele played left tackle last year Jensen played guard because Uerschel was playing center and with two rookies on the inside we still played well. What makes you think that neither of these options are satisfactory even after they both played the position and played it well when Osemele was not playing there? I could see if we were putting an unknown in that position we could be a little tentative about those guys, but these guys have a track record of being productive.

Where have your been? Hello? If we had kept Monroe it was a possibility that Stanley would have played Guard but Monroe is gone and Stanley is our new LT. We tried to keep KO but he got more money from the Raiders than we were willing to spend. Nobody needs to be fired over this one.

At least make some kind of sense if you are joining a forum. Most members are really knowledgeable of the Ravens Organization and how it works, so when you start typing the stuff you do, I am sure they do not find it amusing. Know of what you speak, before you do. It doesn't have to be right or wrong, it just has to make some sort of logical sense.

Agreed, kind of bi-polar postings (bad, good, then ridiculous) anyway I'd say I seem more confident that the LG spot is ok then the FO. Bringing in a vet and having a rookie tackle take snaps there make me think urschel and Jensen might not be as solid as I thought or perhaps they are just seeing what gives them the best line? Time will tell but I'm rooting for Jensen

"vote of confidence in both Orr and Arthur Brown" Brown is a bust and too slow to operate even if he could learn the job. C.J will never be the main linebacker GUY. Good supporting cast but no leader. This is the worst Linebacker crew in Ravens history. Only Orr has a chance to become something great.
"Why Ed Reed's son is a Patriots fan" Americans love winners not third place finishers. Mike Wallace "The veteran has gotten some criticism for his attitude and effort level at different stages of his career" That only get worse with age.

I think it's a great sign when someone really has to reach to find a position group that took a step back. We have a single position, not a position group, that took a step back, and thanks to the depth we have at LG, drafting Ronnie Stanley, and Wagner being another year separated from Lisfranc surgery, the O-line should actually be better than it was last year.

Dont sleep on Waller. Man has a ton of ability. Boyle may be a surprise cut. Watson has about a couple more years at best, and Pitta is never a sure thing due to this hip. Gillmore, Maxx, and Waller would be a pretty hard group to cover in double TE and even TE slot packages.

I highly doubt boyle gets cut since he's suspended and won't count as a spot on the roster. From what I see, all our TE's will be on the roster when the season starts. Now RB and WR is a different story...unless someone gets injured.
