We should also hear a lot more about Perriman today.

I'm anxiously waiting to hear any news at all... I'm still holding out hope.

Practice starts at 3pm, I believe, for those that are scouring for updates now.

Harbaugh is hurting players with these mid day practices. That's obviously why perriman tore his acl.

Please tell me you're joking. I recall reading an article on here that they did studies on the best time of the day to practice and the Ravens implemented accordingly.

Nah man. 3:00 is statistically proven to be the most injury prone time of day, and June 14th the most injury prone day of the year

Oh i guess we should report it in this thread too. Perriman supposed to be fine for start of the season. ACL deemed stable enough, received stem cell injections and timetable for recovery is 2-4 months... which by my calculations is a range from late training camp/pre-season to week 3-4 of the regular season.

Take time with it, no need to rush it and re-injure it like last season. If its week 6 or so, idc. We have a pretty light start of the season. I want 100% Breshad for the 2nd half and playoffs.

Finally some good news for the kid.

If he can come back in week 8, fresh legged and be relatively up to speed by week 10, watch out. If we make the playoffs following this scenario then he and flacco could seriously just set the world on fire.

Owings Mills is the injury epicenter of the universe.

Someone should take some time in the off-season and check that the practice fields aren't built on top of ancient NFL burial grounds.

Any injury that occurs at M&T can't be blamed on the field since it's grass now.  /sarcasm

Relatively unrelated, but the footage on kaufusi at otas before the injury I suppose... He looked a lot stronger than in college. His arms and shoulders are jacked and really everything but his midsection looks solid. I hope this back doesn't nag him all hear because one year of nfl conditioning could make him an absolute terror

Zrebiec says:

Ravens appear to have some tryout players here. [OL] Herremans could be part of that group rather than officially signed.

------------------------

I assume he means Todd Herremans who has experience with both Harbs and Castillo from Philly.

Very interesting. Herremans was a very steady player in Philly, but did struggle mightily in Indy last year (I think). Then again, that whole line was atrocious.... but hes a proven vet, great locker room guy, and as you mentioned has ties to the coaching staff.

Yeah he seems to have fallen off the cliff, but as you said, maybe that's the Indy affect.  I think he'd be a better depth alternative than say, Ducasse, though.

Zrebiec also says Dumervil and Monroe not at practice. He says no word on Elvis being hurt and Monroe had previously claimed he was cleared to play.

As for Monroe, it appears that Ravens are moving on from him, either via trade or release. Situation should be settled soon.

10 out from mandatory camp. Flacco, Camp, Perriman, Rolle, Suggs, Dumervil, Smith, Monroe, Pierce and Kaufusi.

Dumervil the only real surprise there, but he could be excused or sick or something.  Can't read too much into an absence like that until you hear the reason why.
