Let's committ as a fanbase to support and nurture Breshad Perriman through his partial tear. If you ask yourselves in the quiet of your minds, you know it wasn't really his fault. So why start branding him a bust, etc instead of helping him heal so he comes back better than ever. Life and circumstances are repeatedly testing him and he is at the precipice and cross roads at this moment. He can turn either direction and I think it's up to us as fans to help guide him to success. How? By not being critical senselessly and instead being supportive of his recovery.

Who ever is bashing Perriman labeling him a bust , shouldn't be a Ravens Fan or even on here.... this is not what we do business as the RAVENS FAMILY... god bless you Brashad.. see you in 2017

No one should blame Perriman for his injuries, and no one has a right to condemn his work ethic, commitment, etc. It's not his fault. Period.

But ... we did (so far) waste a pick on the guy, and that is what's frustrating. The fact that he has never once practiced or taken the field carries some real negative connotations with it, and those are unavoidable. I'm sure no one is as frustrated as Perriman, but we're all frustrated.

Considering what just happened with Perriman, that should be reason enough to NOT cut Monroe.

We have a lot of depth at WR and we can recover from Perriman's loss.  However, I don't see

good quality depth on the O-line.  Cutting Monroe just b/c we drafted Stanley just doesn't

make sense right now.

It is just a major disappointment not to see him play again. You expect your 1st round pick to play. This is the second year in a row and again left wanting. At the end of the day it is a business. There are those that will make it and those that won't and that is just the way it is. Not everybody gets to play in the NFL. Not For Long is another name. Am I disappointed he hurt himself again. Yes! Do I feel bad for commenting he could be a bust? No, again this is just business nothing personal. I am sure he is a quality young man and I wish him the best but the fact of the matter is he is not helping my Ravens win games which is the bottom line.

If Perriman's out for the year again then I see Steve Smith, Kamar Aiken, Mike Wallace, Keenan Reynolds, Campanaro and Jeremy Butler as the WRs who will lead our team.

lets not leave out Moore.  I see him as having decent ability in year one.  Keenan Reynolds is really raw at this point, but I love his work ethic.

Don't forget 4th round rookie Chris Moore.  He's a big target and has wheels also.

OAN: With the logjam at TE, I'm wondering if they're going to reconsider moving Waller back to WR b/c of Perriman's injury.

As a citizen of Orlando, I can tell you our city is still reeling. Our community has organized quickly, blood drive lines go on for blocks and our police force is one of the best and most compassionate in the country. This is yet another blow for Breshad as well, as a UCF alumni I know Orlando is close to his heart.

Exactly, and that makes me wonder why so many people were saying, "We better bring Boldin back" We already have 8 or 9 guys that could make the roster and probably only 6 will be here week one. Losing one doesn't hurt that much. It sucks because he was figured to be the number 2 guy this season, but Aiken was the number 1 and number 2 guy last season, so he can fill in. And Wallace is a good number 3 guy.

Perriman,it's Over..

You are Soooooo wrong.

He cannot know it's over - just like you cannot know it isn't...

The fact that the Ravens stuck with Sergio Kindle for so long and are willing to see if Pitta will be able to play shows that team isn't going to give up on a player because of an injury. Right here, right now, the only way it is over is if Perriman says its over.

There was someone who texted into 98 Rock this morning asking if they think Perriman is injuring himself on purpose. But this is the same kind of person that told me last season that Joe Flacco wasn't actually hurt. Because Flacco finshed that drive he know Joe wasn't really hurt and only sat out the rest of the season because he knew the season was over.

You are correct.

However, he is just 2 years out of college.
I doubt that means he is done.

Look at Manny with the O's. He had surgery on one knee, and shortly thereafter, the other knee goes out.
Did he quit? No.

He missed another year, and now is one of the best players in baseball.

it seems so far he is a BUST,just bad luck, people that attack his charichter isn't right, but STEVE SMITH has to realize fans have a right to talk.in general wev'e had bad luck drafting WR'S.it is what it is,i'm sure certain teams just have bad luck at a certain position CAMPANARO basicly is in the same spot, this is his last chance, but he's got to be the LUCKIEST guy on the roster,i think if it weren't for PERRIMAN going down last year we wouldn't even be talking about CAMP anymore, but now he's got yet another legit shot at making the team because of PERRIMANS injury,he really should go and thank him.the RAVENS were stupid for drafting PERRIMAN after it came out that he has a bone desease, thats on them. if your gonna critisize anyone, aim it at the front office for drafting him.but were fine at WR. no reason to bring in another guy unless he's a beast WR. wer'e doing alot of 2 tight-end sets this year anyway.

Waller, Matthews, Butler, and others do not get me hyped up a little. Reminds me of Doss, David Reed, and Millette. If we can pick up a PROVEN veteran(Boldin) at the (Boldin) right price(Boldin) I say we get somebody in here(Boldin) who is DURABLE (Boldin) and "ONLY" catches 70 passes a year (Boldin) and is a PROVEN WINNER (Boldin). We have nothing to lose other than another team signing him at the right price and reaping the rewards.

Jeff Z is nuts if he thinks we don't need to add another wideout. Dose our wideouts pit fear into other team defenses hell no. Stupid response Jeff Z.

At this point I think it's fair to say luck has nothing to do with it. Ozzie is bad at drafting WRs.

Again WHY are you writing things like Mike Wallace is stepping in for Perriman??? Wallace is a full time starter like Smith Jr. Stop refer to Wallace as a back up, everyone knows different

I guess it depends on what one defines as a "bust". Personally, I describe a bust as an early draft pick who fails to live up to expectations as an impact player. It's unfortunate that Perriman keeps getting hurt, but the painful reality is that he has made zero impact since joining the Ravens as a first-round pick. Another painful reality is that things bode ill for any player whose most notable asset his speed, but who suffers a PCL tear in one knee, then an ACL tear in his other knee. Just a very unfortunate situation for everyone...

Oh, Moore might very well be that guy we need, but I wanna see it for myself come preseason.

We all pretty much know that it isn't. The Ravens aren't going to cut him, and there is an extremely small chance that he will retire right now.

Well, Wallace(and potentially Moore) should at least put enough fear in defenses to back them up a little, which is something we didn't have and desperately needed last year. Is there someone who is still available that pits fear into defenses?
