It wasn't our Coach! We had a veteran ball club that harbaugh destroyed! Ed Reed and Pollard was forced out of Baltimore. He's not a great Coach and it's starting to show now.

Now THIS is funny

Didn't Perriman hurt himself on a non-contact play? That would seem to shift the blame away from the intensity of practice.

Yes. An acl injury running a pass route. The entire notion was ridiculous to apply in this case from the start.

Ed reed wasn't forced out by a long shot and pollard is a career journeyman.  Misremembering facts doesn't prove your point it only makes your claims look foolish.

Pollard has been shipped out of how many teams because of his locker room behavior?

Ed reed was in a contract year and was a liability at the end, and went on to have a horrible season for 2 teams.

This thread will have 200 pages by week one lol. We all know a starter somewhere will probably be injured before week one. No one wants it to happen but eventually it will.

I don't know what is causing these injuries but it is a disturbing trend over the past two yrs. that is for sure.  I remember when looking at this particular photo, I thought that looks awfully archaic, like something you would see out of a 1950's PE class, lol.

I understand the need and importance to warm up and stretch, but if that is done early in a warm up sequence and the muscles are cold that can cause injuries to the back, knee and hamstrings. What do we have the most problems with injury wise...backs, knees and hamstrings.    That looks like something Bob Rogucki would have done in gym class.  Surely there has to be more a more updated warm up/stretching routine. Just sayin'. lol   Although, Steve Saunders is Director of Performance and Recovery, I sure hope he takes a look at other areas of our strength and conditioning program.  Looks like we could use an update.

Because of the stretch he's doing?  I mean, stretching is obviously pretty important and its a simple thing to do.  In the Marines when we would PT, we would do all that dumb stuff...but it works

Oh believe me, been there done that and I realize it is important, it just looks so outdated and antiquated. lol   You would think with all the advances in medicine, sports medicine, exercise physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, and flexibility training  etc. they could come up with something more efficient, with less potential to injure.  There is a good debate going on as to which is better static or dynamic stretching and when is the best time they should be done to prevent injury.

I think we should hire Matt Birk's flexibility coach, ya know the stretching guru. It seems to work for him, he swore by it. lol
