That's very true. AB and Bryant were just raw freak athletes coming out of college too. Ravens have always been terrible at developing WR's

Yep . This has always been our biggest weakness .

That's really incorrect . Perriman was getting first round consideration before his 40 time but of course his 40 time helped( at his pro day may I add) like it would with any player.

daniel jeremiah ( a scout a respect) had a 3rd round grade on him, which is what i saw too.

Trading is generally a bad idea. They just dont work out often. If you want a target that is more plausible, how about Demaryius Thomas. You can make the argument that the Broncos may have overpaid him and want out of the deal, but would you really want DT given his struggle with drops, age, and uncertainty to how talented he truly is?

No idea if i would.

Very good point @Sizzlebshu I can only say this and it is not meant as a swipe at Perriman I am really pulling for him but the difference between DT and BP is DT has actually made plays in the NFL.

we traded for boldin who pretty much had every single one of these concerns and it turned out ok.

i think i would offer a 4th and 5th for DT, hes got quuestion marks but the guy has produced a lot and has shown big play ability for years.

We are ok at wideout. It's a shame to see him injured but I'm not near in a rush to make a trade.

This gives Wallace, a proven veteran more snaps and with Aiken, smith and Moore and Campanaro we have tremendous versatility.

hahahahahha you think we'd do that? I mean dont get me wrong, that would be great for us but you really think our timid FO would trade their precious 4th anf 5th for a proven pro bowl WR whos only 27? :/

i actually quite like chris moore. He needs to be more effective at the line and breaking press coverage but i think he has potential.

Osgood Schlatter's disease - super common with athletes, it has to do with growth spurts and impact on growth plates while running and so on, hardly a red flag for anyone.

That still doesn't change the fact that he  was getting first round consideration before his pro day workout. I actually googled Daniel Jeremiah and Breshad Perriman which lead to me finding Jeremiah saying he would feel more  comfortable with drafting  Perriman at the top of the second round than  the top half of the first round .

I saw that on rotoworld.com so unless his third round grade came before Perriman 40 time then some thing changed.

I don't really get the point of some of you guys arguing where he should of Been taken,  what he was worth,  etc... We did this last year. Injuries happen,  it's not the players fault,  it sucks we most likely won't see him for yet again another year,  but some people need to realize it's just bad luck.   Again.   The guy had no injury history.... He was exactly what this team needed when we drafted him.  It sucks,  but I can't fault the FO for a player getting hurt.

DJ said he'd feel more comfortable at the top of the second but had a 3d round grade on him. He said he understands why teams would be enticed with this athletic ability.

Come on, man.  It's common knowledge that Ozzie and company can see the future and know exactly how a player's career is going to turn out.  I'm disappointed in you for not knowing.

There's an easy way to end this back and forth between you two, just produce a link and we can move on.

I'll be happy if just we make it to the negotiations with him. At least now we will be able to carry another TE, RB, or WR that was on the bubble.

Uh, no, he was not...

He had a decent base as a route runner, but it needed significant work and his hands were a major question mark, especially over the middle where most of his route running prowess needs him now.

You know, the project type.

In fact, he was praised for his explosion off the line, agility, and quickness above anything else, but hey, he was so refined coming out.

he was a great route runner at college. He was not a freak athlete. He was def the best route runner in college but was under the radar and his size/athletic ability wasnt considered elite.
