Just hire him as a coaching assistant but please ask him to leave his wife in Denver or where ever else they currently live. After insulting Ray Lewis in 2012, I'm still a little pissed.

A midget that can't catch coaching?

Yeah, who wants someone who caught over 100 passes 5 times, led the league in catches 3 times, and caught over 75% of his target in his prime... >.>

You need to hire him Ravens.org- If he can coach up our kick returner or Reynolds is a +/+. An internship is in order and a fresh pair of eyes never hurts our cause. Boldin should be offered a position as intern as well.

Dude people have a right to their opinions. Can't lock somebody out of Baltimore for having an opinion or statement about somebody. The teams were rivals that year. Welker has a lot to teach about offense, route concepts and timing. He worked with the 2 most cerebral qbs ever. In very complex record breaking offenses. He is an intelligent guy and could even be a great coordinator eventually. If he were 6'1 with the speed and athleticism of Chad Johnson then think how great Welker could be. He would have a couple 2000 yard seasons.

Wait what? ? I just don't hope he doesn't give the Patriots pointers of what we are doing in training camp. If it's just one day visit then it won't be to much information. LOL ?

So what exactly are you saying? If people have a right to their opinions why are you critical of mine?

Ravens should hire him as a full time coach. Welker would help the WRs Joe Cool and the offense. Here is a guy that did it in games and can teach it. He understands the art of the position as well as chemistry between qb and wr for a potent offense.

Who would of thought the guy to coach up our WRs would be a former Patriot. I'm all for hiring him on as an assistant WR coach, hell offer Smitty the WR coach position right now for next year.

A midget who's a couple of yards short of a 10K-yard career...

a midget whose concussions are probably the only thing holding him back from going a couple more seasons and earning the gold jacket (he might get it anyway for what he did for the slot receiver position).

I like Wes, because his play against the Ravens made me jump up and down with fury more than a few times, and would love to see him as a coach for the Ravens.

I know you were joking, but I don't think he left the Patriots on good terms. I don't think he would kiss Billick's butt like other people in the organization are known to do.

I like the idea of Welker being a coach, but we have a former receiver as the Wide Receivers Coach. Bobby Engram was pretty good receiver for years, and when he healthy he usually had over 900yds a season. Also, he was an assistant to the offensive cooridinator for the 49ers and he was the wide receivers coach for the University of Pittsburgh before coming to Baltimore.

I'm surprised by this move after what his wife said about Ray Lewis on Twitter two years ago. I remember the game the day after Torrey Smith's brother passed away and Torrey Smith helped us win. So many harmful tweets about Telvin Smith from players and fans. I really hope Welker has matured since then, along with his wife. Experienced player but sometimes I question his moral compass.
