I would think that having thousands of people trampling all over the recently laid sod can't be a good idea.

Hopefully better than the time, they filmed the Replacements during football season. Painting "Washington" over "Ravens 2000" frequently that year over the endzone, it looked like dirt painted black and the end of the year..
