Get rid of the Pro Bowl already. It is terrible. Make it an honorary achievement only so ONLY those who deserve it in a given season are selected based on performance. Just be done with it but at the same time make it mean something to be selected again.

They already have the All-Pro team, which is a much better acknowledgment.

Do away with the joke of game that the Pro-Bowl has become. Make it a skills competition like the old Battle of Superstars/Superteams. Exactly. This would be way more entertaining than the game itself, even if they took it somewhat serious. I honestly don't like watching Ravens players in the game for the simple fact that they could easily get a serious injury that hinders there availability for the following season. Eifert is going through that right now with the Bengals. Luckily he will return, but he could still miss a few games, just because of the pro bowl.

Totally agree. Get creative and dream up new ways to compete that don't put the players at high physical risk in a competition that is meaningless to the heart of the NFL - the regular season.

I like the idea, but I can see players still being worried about getting hurt. I know years ago they had rookie beach flag football and Robert Edwards, a running back for the Patriots, injured his leg and was told that there was a chance that he might not walk again. He eventually returned to the NFL and played for the Dolphins for a year, and played for in the CFL for years, but it was still a serious injury that almost cost him his leg.

Am I the only one that Hemsley assumes Dumervil will be starting opposite Suggs? I know he became a starter when Suggs went down, but that's not why he is on the team. Dumervil is a pass rush specialist that only comes in during passing downs. I think his biggest competition will probably be Smith, but they might still put him at ILB just so they have the best 11 players on the field at the same time.

Also, how do you not mention Justin from 98 Rock is singing karaoke with Brandon Williams.
