82 Torrey Smith days until kick off.

This is just an awesome photo.

Additionally Torrey is scoring on the Pats.  Although I don't know what game this was so I don't know if we won or we lost.
Hopefully it is a step in the right direction to make up for my error yesterday.
Joey Flex, you left me hanging man....

Smith had a lot of big games v the pats.

That catch against Champ Bailey near the end of the first half of the divisional game was a thing of beauty

That is quite the grab on the facemask there Torrey.

Torrey was just trying to bring champ along for the TD ?

Even though he was a carry over from the Browns, he arguably, might have been the greatest Ravens receiver. However, I still prefer Boldin.

I prefer Steve Smith Sr. I don't think I have ever seen a player on the offensive side of the ball be as electric as Steve Smith Sr.

I don't care if he has only been here a couple seasons he was 36 and on pace to get 1500 yards last season with a missed game. The only other wide receiver close at the time was Keenan Allen before he also got hurt. Steve Smith was leading the NFL in receiving yards or very near the top up until his rib injury which he ended up playing through against San Francisco.

Nothing against Anquan he is a great receiver and he stats show it but he never eclipsed 1000 yards with us. He would disappear in games just as much as he would take over games.

I mean, what can you say about Steve Smith? The man is fantastic! Mason was also great, but, I was going by the number 81.

I understand now lol. My bad. Yeah there have been some very good guys come in here and produce #1 numbers for us. Just too bad that we usually don't have a solid receiver putting up numbers next to them.

I was hoping someone would post a non Boldin #81.

No disrespect to Anquan.

Keenan Reynolds, in SB LI he returned one kickoff to the house and caught two Bombs from our MVP QB Ryan Malett, one of which was a TD. He also threw one in a trick play to Daniel Brown who burnt Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu on that play.

I will never forget...

Sorry, I might want to watch how my grandma makes the cakes I just ate.

80 Crockett Gillmore days until kickoff

HoRB0G.gif

I wish this GIF was better resolution because it's a great play - even more great when you consider it was the play after a Redskins dirty hit (on Aiken by the Redskins LB who got run over), brawl (from which Steve Smith got ejected), and Harbaugh punking Jay Gruden - LINK. And the best part? It was preseason LOL. Crockett is that tough dude who won't go down on first contact and will make your life miserable with his physicality.

PS - Jay Gruden stinks

That video and link just got me so heated and prepared for football RIGHT NOW. Why do this to us in the middle of offseason purgatory?

Man, sometimes Gilmore is impossible to take down. If he doesn't get injured he's a 10TD guy, easy. His second touchdown against Oakland is also a thing of beauty.

Lets hope SSS remembers this moment.

78 Bryant McKinnie days....

65401993.jpg

He did have some problems during his time here (passing fitness tests, falling in his bathroom, being motivated) but when the O-line needed a shake up headed into the 2012 playoffs, McKinnie gave us the boost needed. He helped provide Flacco with clean pockets and the time needed to go on his historic run. I think it's pretty clear that without him - we don't win that Super Bowl.

Love him or hate him, he is an important piece to this Ravens story.

And my gosh was he a monster. An absolute MOUNTAIN of a man.

Mckinnie KILLED it in the playoffs

That he did. Came through in the nick of time. There were several changes that needed to occur (Cameron's firing, hiring Castillo, Pierce getting more carries, opening up the passing game, Rays announcement) for us to go on that run - not the least of which was moving Oher back to RT so McKinnie could play LT, which if I remember correctly slid KO in to guard where he became a mauling run defender.

Love him or hate him... He came to play in those playoffs.

And i I love that picture bc he makes Harrison look so small......

And it looks like he's giving Harrison a Rock Bottom (IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLalalalaallllalow..... What the Rock. Is cooking.) loved wwf as a kid

77 Matt Birk days until kick off

Matt-Birk_zpsvl0gkiup.jpg

Matt has always been one of my favorite RAVENS.  Tough, smart, seemed like a great and kind guy off the field.

Quite possibly one of the best centers we ever had.

I loved the fact he had all of his  ( 6 ? ) kids names tattooed on his arm.

Man you were on top of that one!

Birk is the man... The brains and lynchpin of the line for many a year. Glad he was here to win one with us.

BUT how do you not go KIPP VICKERS with this one. I means it's Kipp Freakin Vickers!

jk..... Just wanted to post the name Kipp Vickers.

no tackle has COASTED on natural talent more than Mckinnie. He could have been the best LT in the past 14 years..Just so happened to be the laziest and fattest. What a legend :P
