99 Paul Kruger days until kick off.

I have always loved this thread.  I hope my math is right and I can start this thread.

( BTW if I recall former RAVENS are permitted in this thread )

I like the theme.......nice seeing our old heroes.

But.......I am NOT going to get ginned up for this season believing all is now well.  This will be a very reserved fandom until a genuine improvement is demonstrated. There will be no sky high expectations and winning one or two games early will not generate a feeling the playoffs are inevitable.  We lost four to begin 2015, we almost have to improve on that, but this team is not going to get my hopes up until THEY demonstrate something much more than they've brought to the field in 2 of the last 3 years.  There is no Kubiak to jump start the offense. This will be up to the team Newsome, DeCosta and Bisciotti have assembled and I will remain skeptical until proven otherwise.

96 Adalius Thomas days until kick off

thumb-400.jpg

This guy was a monster for a few seasons and could line up everywhere on the field as a hyper-athletic, 6'2, 270lb beast.

His combine and college production  was out of this world. I have no idea how he lasted to the 6th. Not even the fact he wasn't at the highest level of competition should have kept him out of the top 3 rounds.

What's even more bind boggling is how he quickly washed out in New England.

He was really good in 2007. After that it was age/injuries.

I guess he was around for 10 years. It doesn't seem like it though.

If im able to access my laptop everyday, then I'm going to blatantly attempt to list the worst possible player at every number.

I'm waiting for Michael Huff's name to be called.

It is fun..

I'm not doing it to predict doom and gloom. Im doing it for fun because we list the same guys year in and year out and it's gotten stale. I think seeing a picture of Frank walker tackling a wr with the ball in the air saying "41 Frank walker days...." would be a lot better than "yawn 41 Anthony Levine days"

He played 1 game for us.He barely played a snap after that.. I think the fact matt elam didnt beat him out during camp was pretty telling!

I died when you said Frank Walker. We need to remember Billy Cundiff and Lee Evans as well.

*shrugs*

Whatever....

Hopefully you won't be the first one on every day.

Keep it mixed up a little bit.

( although I am curious how funny you can make it at day 52 )

And 75. I've already considered that and I'll just pay respects to those who deserve it I guess?

Nah...

Love the theme...Just being up front with my expectations for the year. This thread is great for illustrating Raven memories, but I'm not going to allow it to build anticipation of glory for a season that I can't honestly perceive.  My view is our Front Office can't get out of their own way due to factors, age among them.

If enough fans reach the same conclusion this could become expedited.  Unfortunately, I believe we are going to have to do this the hard way.

As football fans we are looking forward to the 1st week. That is all this thread is for.

@JoeyFlex5 please honor Bennie Thompson #37 if you remember maybe our best SpTeamer ever and my 1st favorite Raven. I'm sure Ill forget or I wont get on here fast enough lol.
