Chris Moore is not stiff at all!! To get a handle on his fluid route running you have to watch him running routes where he was not the target. And watch him zinging in and out of breaks. You say he is stiff cuz you see him catching a lot of long throws. His qb could not hit him in traffic on intermediate routes. His qb is terrible!!  But you watch him running a route over the middle to throw the defense off and you see he is very sudden in his breaks and very explosive out of breaks. He has similar skills of Marvin jones, John Brown and even reminds you of Chad Johnson if you watch him run routes at top gear over the middle and how sudden he is. Now of a an can hit him in stride he will outperform many of the early round WRs. His play speed suggests a far faster 40 time!! He impressed at the senior bowl. Sometimes WRs do not run their best at the combine. Chad Johnson ran a 4.58 yet was lightning fast. Chris Moore pulled away from 4.3 cornerbacks.

No, he's OK in and out of his break, but in his straight light runs he runs like Derrick Henry. Not sure that would ever be a drawback on him in the NFL, but clearly I don't see Sanders.

His speed and ball skills are reminiscent of Sanders. His extra gear is bank!! Like I said to see his speed in and out of breaks you have to watch games and plays he is not the primary target. When he is running in high gear to throw the defense off balance. He is not as fast in his breaks when he is the primary target cuz he is trying making himself visible to a terrible qb that can not find a wr in traffic running shifting gears and accelerating. To get a feel for his explosion you need to view plays where he is not the primary wr. And running full speed to throw off his opponents. You will be quite impressed. Why do you think he surged just before the draft??  Mayock and analysts got around to his tape in situations he was not the the primary target to get a feel for his potential and explosion in routes

I know what he's saying. Moore runs straight up and down its awkward to watch sometimes lol. It may also be why he struggled with the press. With a little bit of lean and tilt he should be better all around

I was saying I hope he isn't Jonathan Stewart 2.0. Would much rather just get a second Rice

I want the second coming of Barry Sanders over anyone else.

Although, if the offense looked like the 90's Cowboys, that'd be cool

Only cowboy fans argue against this. Anyone in their right mind has either Sanders or Jim Brown as their #1 all time. Some might throw OJ and Bo in there.

So Walter Payton doesn't exist?

You really think Walter payton is on Barry or browns level? He's an all time great and a top 5 guy but come on lol

Since you added Bo and OJ, then yeah I think it's time to add Payton as well.

I honestly forgot payton lol. He's in that 2nd tier with those 2 without a doubt.

I think AP is cementing himself as a top 10 back

Taking away 2014 for obvious reasons, he's averaging close to 1,500 yards, 4.9 yards per carry, and 12 touchdowns a season. That's insane production

Without a doubt. You put Barry high because of OL but don't realize that like Barry Walter did it with questionable lines as well as being the first, second, third option on their offense.

Oj was a great back. The fact that he mentioned Bo strictly from potential and then to down play Walter is ridiculous imo

Yea he's gotta at least be the best back so far this century

Never down played payton and I also didn't list Barry because of his ol, not sure where you got that from.

I don't see how payton can be considered on the same level as Barry and brown. Those 2 are in a league of their own and payton, oj, bo,  campbell, and Dickerson make up that 2nd tier, and yeah I'd probably say payton is tops in that group but he's just not on Barry or browns level.

Thread hijacked anyway let's kill this convo.

I sure hope Dixon lives up to these lofty expectations ;)
