Neither Richardson nor Camp can afford the slightest injury in "camp" right now it's not a huge deal because reps won't be won in OTAs imo. That 3 week training camp and preseason will be key for both.

Also I wouldn't read too much into what Harbs said about Camp's hard work to get and stay healthy. To a word he basically said the same thing about David Reed the year he was cut. So while his work ethic is great, he'll need to be on the field to make the team.

I dont know if like Campanaros chances at this point. Even if he stays healthy the entire way through camp- do we trust him. Would we pass on a K Renyolds or a JButler in order to keep Camp... knowing that we cannot trust him to stay healthy???? IDK. Plus KRenyolds seems to have a similar skill set. I am not saying that we wont keep Camp but I really am starting to question his chances in a very crowded WR battle? It will be interesting for sure!

I like the thought of RIchardsons potential but we may be starting to see why he hasn't panned out anywhere? I hope not bc he is immensely talented... but if the workethic is not there???? He may not last long here either? Lets hope Harbs can light that fire under him!

Agree that Richardson has the biggest challenge to make the team but if camp's injuries Jeep him from performing... both will be replaced IMO

(And I'm a camp fan but I think this is the make or break year for him sadly)

Richardson is fighting for a NFL career and Campanaro is fighting for a roster spot, possibly a NFL career. There is less separation between these two players than what is written.

Harbs is just putting things in the best light possible to encourage his player to step up and not let this opportunity pass by unchallenged. No coach is going to come out and say one of their players is at the top of the cuts list, with perhaps one exception in very obvious situations such as major off field concerns or incidents. The real underlying story is Harbs is basically telling Campanaro not to give up, saying he's been doing everything we expect of him. The injuries are not in his control, and he does not want his player getting discouraged.

Very well said. Are you a coach?

I disagree that Richardson's injury hurts his chances more than Camp's. Trent was a longshot from the beginning and his injury doesn't really affect that at all, Camp actually had a shot to take a spot, this is now his millionth injury and I'd say his chances of making the roster are now next to 0. We can't keep reserving a spot for him, time and time again it's shown to be a waste because he gets injured every 5 snaps - to use the old phrase "like his bones are made of glass" is an understatement at this point.

I agree. There seems to be a double standard here. Especially with the press. Just how many games has Campanaro ever played? How many catches has he made in the Ravens uniform? Should we just induct him into the ring of honor???

Camp hurt again? I feel bad for the guy, but after seeing it happen so often, I can't help but make a frustrated laugh.

I feel bad for Campanaro but if the Ravens are gonna live by the motto: "the best indicator of future behaviour is past behaviour" then they need to cut ties with this guy. Cut him and sign him to the practice squad, he will clear waivers for sure.

I know they are just tributes for Memorial Day but if they were to produce an American Flag Ravens Jersey, I would not be in favor of them. According to flag etiquette and the United States Flag code, the flag should not be used as "wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery." I would not want our organization associated with something that could be considered disrespectful by our veterans.

An actual flag should not be used that way, but "flag print" is acceptable.  In other words, you can't cut up a flag to make a shirt, but you can print a picture of one on a shirt.

Thanks for clarifying.
