I would love to hear more details regarding the stupid 5 minute padded punting drill decision. Whose idea was that? Harbs? If so, how could he not know the rules? Wasn't there somebody around to say "hey, John, I don't think we can do that".The Ravens need a QC guy or a compliance guy to keep the coaches from stepping in doo doo.

It was a very costly mistake.

I think it's dumb to penalize a team that heavily over wearing pads for 5 minute, but just pay the fines and get in as much work as possible with the OTA days you have and move on... lesson learned, it's not that big of a deal.

Totally agree. "Enough with the damned pads. Let's talk football."

I thought we had a talented roster coming in last season. But injuries killed us, hence the 5-11 season. But coming in this season we have more competition to add with what we already had last season which makes it more interesting! Sad part like someone stated is that we will lose some talented guys, that will end up in other organizations and will probably do good if healthy. Bottom line, it's great to have this type of competition with in our team for roster spots. May the best guys prevail so we can be a better team!

The team was 1-5 with everyone but Sizzle.  The team obviously wasn't very good.

I think the injury bug is still going to linger and the Ravens will be lucky to go 8-8.
Maybe we are looking at the beginning of the end of the Harbaugh/Newsome/Flacco Era. I dont care how much Purple Energy Drink Flacco consumes he is pocket clumsy and with a very mediocre OL he will he may tweak that knee like last year trying to scramble or should I say bumble. And what will be the worst feeling for us Baltimore football fans will be the loss at home to the whinny Snyder team in D.C

No way do we lose to the Skins this year at home !
It's time to put Pees on notice...
Joe will score plenty of points this season.
The question is, how many "Bent and Broken" points, Dean Pees Defense let's get scored on us.

Injuries are a part of football and unfortunately this team has seen a lot of them over the last couple of seasons. It is easy to say if they have another year of major injuries to significant players again that this team won't live up to expectations. It is also very true.

Harbaugh will get some slack because of how good this team has been during his tenure. You toss out a couple of fluke, injury-riddled seasons and his record is impeccable. Players getting hurt isn't really the coach's fault. I think he's got to have a huge meltdown with the team like what happened with Billick or some sustained losing in order to get ousted.

Flacco rarely scrambles and I admit that he does seem to lack some pocket awareness at times and then makes some plays that you honestly can't believe he tried. I believe that all stems from his lack of faith in the O-line. We have to remember that this is the first season Flacco has ever missed a start in his Ravens and NFL career.

The Redskins do the same thing every year. They win the off season, but haven't realized that they can't buy their way to a superbowl. In a battle of QB's would you want Cousins over Flacco? I think not.
