I want him to come back for both his sake and the sake of the Ravens. It'll be a great day when and if he steps on the field against the Bills. I truly believe he'll take off from where he left.

His issue will be more mental than physical, and that causes hesitation....we will see soon enough though...

I'm going to be on edge every time I see Pitta run. We've invested $39 million in him and Watson and a 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th rounder for the others. All within the last three years. That's a ton of resources that could have been greatly used elsewhere. These guys better be amazing.

Hope it's worth not being able to walk those two girls of yours down the aisle buddy.

That was a horrible comment.  If you read the article, Pitta stated at some point in the future he's gonna need a hip replacement.  So he'll be more than capable of walking his daughter's down the aisle.

There's a difference between doing hip replacement when your 35 vs when your 55. Playing surely worsens his chances and invreases the risk of further complications. That said, I hope pitta is 100 percent ready. It's a risk and I think it's worth taking because one year of doing what you love is ten times better than 50 years of regretting never getting the chance to do so.

God bless you pitta and i support your decision either way you go with this.

I agree it was a horrible comment, but having a hip replacement doesn't mean he's not going to be in a wheel chair in his 50's if he get's injured again. Sometimes you just gotta know when to hang up the cleats. Pitta is one of my favorite Ravens, but I would rather see him live out his days healthy with the money he has made still being healthy enough to have a career after football than see him have a thousand yard 10 td season only to reinjure himself and not be able to walk up a flight of stairs and has to live the rest of his life on disability. 50 years of regret for not seeing if he can make a come back, but living a healthy happy life with his family otherwise or risk living the rest of his life getting pushed around in a wheel chair by his wife?

Yeah horrible comment, but life isn't a fairy tale and its not guaranteed after another hip injury a hip replacement will make him "more than capable" of walking his daughters down the aisle.

I love Denis Pitta, but I do not agree with his decision.

He is not going to make or break this team and for his sake I hope he reconsiders.

This. He's made enough money where he can walk away while he's still mostly healthy. I love the guy. I honestly don't know if there is a better human being on this team, but for him and his family's sake I hope he reconsiders. It's just not worth it.

Mataya is not the only one who will be watching every game nervously. If he takes the field, I think I'll be a wreck! But I hope he can do it. Let's get him aother SB ring!

Pitta went to the Cleveland Clinic one of the best hospitals in the country, wanted to go see him but I knew they weren't having none of that Lol! He caught a awkward pass from Joe SMH maybe he will be fine just put the ball in a better location like in front of him and we will see! Can't wait to get to BMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE! LETS GO!
