The Bills gave up so much to get him and he hasn't done anything but be injured.

He had a pretty good two years, and he has elite talent, but damn, he's just always nicked up.

I must say, this puts little extra perspective on #22 play vs Bills. Makes me feel uneasy with Cooper and Crabtree coming to town.

Doesn't make me worried considering he did well for the other two games and Watkins was obviously healthy enough to play.

We'll see, though

Off topic but Jimmy looked pretty good, Cooper was invisible for the most part. We need one on the other side though. Wright is pretty pathetic in coverage.

Wright is generally very good when he's able to wall his man off to the sidelines and play in his hip pocket, but damn he sucks at just about everything else.

It's a real shame because if you take away those two touchdowns, Wright had a pretty decent day. Unfortunately, he's a complete liability in the red zone and it's going to cost the team more often than it helps them.

Kevin White is on IR. I wonder how Ravens fans would react if he were a Raven and not a Bear.

With 1575 bust posts. lol

Things get worse for the Chargers as CB Jason Verrett is out for the season with a partially torn ACL.

Jaguars Guard Luke Joeckel will go under major surgery for major MCL injury, a meniscus tear AND possibily an ACL tear.

Jordan Reed going through concussion protocol. Would be sixth concussion in six years. Career might be in jeopardy. Hate to see that

Hate to see this happen before we face the Steelers because playing the Steelers without Ben just doesn't feel right. Big Ben will be out indefinitely after requiring surgery to repair his torn meniscus. There is no time table for his return. Steelers play host to Tom Brady and the Patriots next week before having their BYE then face us after the BYE.

1-3 weeks is the typical timeframe for this type of injury. Knowing Big Ben, he will be out there for our game against the Steelers.

Yeah I never say Ben is out against us until it is confirmed and even then I don't let my guard down.

Just saw this on ESPN regarding Ben's surgery:  My gut still says Ben finds a way to play vs us.

Jeremy Fowler ESPN Staff Writer

Ben Roethlisberger told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Ron Cook that the doctors said his "knee looked good" but had buildup from last season's bone bruise, jeopardizing his chances to return for Week 9 against Baltimore. "But there's no way to put an exact timetable on it," he said. "It depends on my pain and how I feel."

Another update from ESPN on Ben.  Still a pretty vague timeline, but looking more likely he may miss game vs. us Week 9, although I never count him out until it is official.

This. I actually think he might rush back to our matchup.

When Geno going down, I was screaming "oh no, not him... Fitz gonna kill us!"

Yep, I knew we were in trouble too. Wonder if the Jets start winning now and cost them a shot at a franchise quarterback in next year's draft.
