Depends on what they do with Monroe. Competing at guard we already have Ryan Jensen, John Urschel, Alex Lewis, and Matt Skura. If Monroe stays then add to the LG mix Ronnie Stanley.

If they cut Monroe I could see them keeping Ducasse if he plays well enough to have some veteran experience on the line. Jensen has primarily been a back up as well as Urschel and Lewis and Skura are rookies.

6'1'' to 6'2'' and around 170-180lbs. Says he knows he would need to get a bit bigger in the NFL. Not exceptionally fast, but certainly not slow either. Might be good enough developmental player that gets on the PS.

DuCasse is a joke. Jah Reid and James Hurst are better. This better just be a camp body because he surely isn't a serious replacement for anyone we have.

Oz is doing his due diligence, making sure that almost every position on both sides of the ball have enough players to compete, and who ever wins jobs with all these players at all these positions will have earned it...I think the FO felt we might have played soft, and wants to get back to playing like Ravens mentality where every player has to fight for PT, and truly earn a spot....I like it...

Flacco probably won't be ready until camp, so having another qb for OTA's and mini camp makes sense..

They're not using Josh Johnson, he didn't have to sign w/ the Ravens. 

A backup QB is only one bad injury away from being a starter.  We quickly learned that last year.  

And how quickly we forget how Joe got his starting position. He was the 3rd string QB going into TC his rookie year.  Boller hurt his shoulder, T. Smith had some crazy infection and Joe was thrust into the starting role never to look back.

As proven last year you can never have too many backups. Hopefully we will not need them but better safe then sorry.

IDK is the Ravens gonna keep 3 QB's? I just don't see it. Maybe they worried about Joe knee and he won't play at the beginning of the season that's they only way he makes the team. Maybe he goes to the practice squad.

If the Ravens wanted to sign a QB, they should've waited if somebody gets hurts first then sign Johnson or whatever. But it seems that coming here with Ryan Mallett already here it gonna be tough for him to compete. He should've went somewhere else that he could compete for a backup spot because l don't think it's gonna happen here. That why l said it will probably waste Johnson time but it's possibly he could be a Raven in the practice squad.
