can't make the club in the tub. Yes Camp has shown a ton of potential and I thought Trestman was gonna start using him more and more after the mini breakout game vs the Steelers. However that young man has to stay healthy or he will not make the team. For as much as the fan base loves Camp, the kid has a total of 12 catches and 1 TD in 2 seasons with the Ravens.

You do know Camp was only IR'd so we could save space for Perriman. He could've returned but a player management error cut his season short.

Still, his injuries are consistent. I think this coming up season is make or break for him. We rely on potential too much and need guys that can stay healthy. I really like Camp, but he's useless on the sideline.

No team will IR a valuable player regardless of the position. If Camp was as valuable as most of us fans think he is, there is no way the team would have IR'd him, error or not.

Camp has some real competition this year. He's no longer the only guy that offers that unique skill set from the slot. Reynolds was drafted for that role as well as RS, Butler offers a bigger slot option and the wildcard to it all could be Pitta. If and it's a big IF, but if Pitta can come back and return to form, he could be used a strictly a slot WR while Gilmore and Watson are used more inline. If Pitta's hip allows him to get back to form, he'd take most of the slot snaps.

In fact, I'd put Butler ahead of Camp right now, just because that kid has proven to have reliable hands and hasn't dealt with injuries. Pulling for Camp but he can't afford the slightest injury that takes snaps away from him and allows others to shine.

If we do cut Camp, which I hope we don't, he will find a job elsewhere in the league I am quite sure.

Hate to say it but he'd be prefect in NE. That offense is fit for him and they'd probably have more patience with his injury history because they've dealt with it a ton with their other small shifty WRs.

Maybe NE might be willing to trade for him so the Ravens could get at least a 6 or 7th for him.

Not so sure he'd strive if he is injured. It's amendola all over

Nobody can produce at a high level if injured, but I think they might be more patient with him then other teams would.

Harbs said Camp has a tweaked calf he's dealing with now, so things are starting on the right foot for him. Hopefully it gets better.

Your post said they'd be patient because his injury issues. He'd have to show enough or they invest enough to wait it out.  It's not gonna happen if he can't stay healthy he'd get used less n less like amendola

No I didn't say they'd be patient because of his injury, I said they'd probably have more patience with his injury history because they've dealt with it before, with amendola who you mentioned. Camp is still PS eligible and the investment into him wouldn't be nearly as much as the 5yrs 28Mil they gave Amendola, so Camp being stashed at the bottom of the roster wouldn't be a big deal.

It's a moot point because I think Camp stays healthy enough to contribute to the team and the Ravens keep him around if nothing more then as a PS guy like i mentioned. It'll be fun watching this WR group perform in camp and preseason.
