I still think y'all should hook up with a developer or two and make a new game for EA and get rich lol  The hours and detail put into it is incredible.

Wait we're actually doing this whole PS thing?  If so, I'm going to rapid fire my picks this morning and end it.

We just did a 6 man PS, not 10

Just read on rotoworld CB Brandon Williams has the starting job as their #2. After all these rounds he wasn't drafted!

That's because Cardinals' scouting sucks. :P

No no. Cardinals picked him in the third. I meant in this game. I expected to see someone got a steal but not picked.

Lol, yep - I just said scouting here is far superior (with a large grain of salt).

You can always take Hurst. Make him a swing tackle.

He gives that term a whole new meaning.

Stevie Johnson's knee injury is serious enough to knock him out for the year, so he goes on IR and Inman, a low-end roster guy I've always liked, takes his place.

Nice team of druggies I assembled here

(From Ian Rapoport)

Bills DL Marcell Dareus' looming suspension stems from marijuana, I'm told -- failed or misses drug tests. News came within the last 2 hrs

Good thing you traded him away for peanuts in the 2015 forum mock ;)

Second year in a row that I lose a 1st round FM pick to I.R. before they have the chance to see the field. Not to mention Vance Walker tearing his ACL.

With Dorial Green-Beckham going to the Eagles, I'm feeling pretty good about the Tajae Sharpe selection. Good to hear it wasn't just a smokescreen to motivate DGB. Apparently he's locked in to start on the outside with Rishard Matthews playing in the slot.

Craig Stevens doesn't do much other than block, but he's elite at it.  I've always placed a high value on having a dominant blocker at TE, and he should slot in nicely as my TE2 while Walford develops a bit more in the blocking realm.

Unfortunately Stevens just retired today.

No biggie. I liked having a premier blocker but I could find another decent blocker fairly easy.

@ravensdan I wanted to get your thoughts since I know these were two players we took: Lamar Miller and Jay Ajayi.

Jay Ajayi has looked straight awful in the preseason, dropping easy passes and almost causing an interception on one throw (defender was out of bounds). As a runner, he has been nothing short of just bad, averaging out a whopping 2.7 YPC. He's also now the second string back behind Arian Foster, who wasn't even signed until mid July due to age and injury concerns.

Meanwhile down there in Houston, Miller has drawn rave reviews by all the beat writers (not the website writers) and executives and scouts around the league are calling for him to have a breakout for the ages. Apparently he just looks like he's being shot out of a cannon.

Think you were wrong about those two?

You mean Miller?

Let's let the season play out. I think it's more likely I was wrong about jay than I will be about Lamar.

Well, so far with the first game, Miller was huge in a feature role and Jay was a healthy scratch that didn't even travel.
