RB will definitely be a competition to watch during this year's training camp

Listening to that press conference I really hope Reynolds makes the team and becomes a solid contributor. If I were Ravens PR I'd have him in front of the camera all the time.

As much as I like Forsett, I agree.  I wouldn't be surprised if Dixon is starting by the end of the season.

These 3 are near certainties for the RB position right now. You must caveat it with it being too early to really know who shines and who doesn't but based on talent alone, I see Forsett, Dixon, Allen making the team for sure with the addition of one other back who is a serious contributor to special teams.

I think this will work out very well for both of them. I know K.dixon might be a little salty for get his record broke by K.Reynaold the very next week.

Who might that be?

Lamonte Thompson from...wait for it...Alabama, well, North Alabama anyway.

He did clock a 4.4 at his pro day, but also clocked a 4.50ish and a 4.60ish. He's also tiny...5'8'' and around 180lbs. More of a kick returner/punt returner than a serious running back threat.

I predict that barring any other moves the Ravens will have 3 active halfbacks and 1 fullback. Forsett, Allen, Dixon, and then "Juice." I see one of the other guys sticking around on the practice squad.

Taliafero showed some flashes but keeps getting long term injuries so he's on thin ice. West didn't show a whole lot to me last season, but he's got his butt in gear and slimmed down much in the way Trent Richardson has. If Richardson really shows something and is completely going beast mode this off season it could really shake some things up. His track record doesn't suggest this though.

Dixon can do everything... he's elusive, physical, and catch out of the backfield. With Trestman calling the plays... he will benefit greatly.
