I think Mel Kiper said it best, when he pretty much said if a third of a draft class live up to their potential, then that's a excellent draft.....

I went checked the Madden rookie rankings and one thing became clear to me. They rank the players based on where they are selected. Not much analytics involved there. If our 6th round pick was selected 6th instead, he would have a grade of 83!

Dixon is going to be interesting...I'm guessing Forsett, Allen, Dixon and do we even keep a fourth guy? Taliafaro can't stay healthy, so maybe it's between one of the two Cleveland outcasts.

If we land 3 full-time starter, which I am guessing in time will be Stanley, Dixon, and Correa, on top of a few great rotational pieces, the draft is a grand slam. Stocking up on depth is so underrated and people only appreciate it once there team is banged up down the stretch.

They all seem to have the 83 rating.

Steve Smith has a good life. He is a good example of a perfect player. Tough as nails on the field but still a good person off the field.

I think they do look at combine stats though. Like a speedster WR is going to have a higher speed rating based on a fast 40-time. They probably tweak other stats based on bench press reps, 10-yard splits, cone drills, etc. from the combine and/or pro day. Like Perriman had good speed and bad hands based off his college scouting report and pro-day 40 time (those bad hands were laughably bad when I played as the Ravens btw lol)

Only if the real games where like a video game...

Oh if and only if lol

remember the good old days where you just run Jamal Lewis all game every game. I'd literally win games without throwing a single pass. Or one day I decided to play franchise with the Browns. Go damn! It took me 3 seasons and every trick in the book to win a SB. Even in the game they suck lol
