Kinda the way I feel about NBA basketball.  You can just watch the last 5 minutes of the game and see what you need to see. And there's pretty much zero strategy to the game anymore as hardly anyone plays hard on defense. College roundball is exciting to watch though.

To play: basketball .. basketball and more basketball (although, when I was young #1 was baseball)

To watch: NFL Football, NCAA Basketball, MLB (as big a fan as I am of the game of basketball ... the NBA ... wake me for the semi-finals)

I have to say, MLB back in the hay-day of the Orioles was my favorite. Yeah, I know .. boring. Well, not to me. I could go to a game for peanuts and they were the kind of club that made you hang on every pitch. That was the sport of my youth ... opening day with Dad (if I kept my grades up, I'd get the day off school), the sights, the sounds ... trying to see how a pitcher was working the batter, guessing what pitch was coming next. If you pay attention and learn the game, it isn't boring, but people today want more obvious action.

Love my NFL first, will watch it if on

NCAA football comes next, will also watch if on

Baseball comes next, will watch most O's games, such a long season though

Basketball, I usually only watch bog regular season games and the playoffs. Only watch College Basketball in March.

Soccer, fastest riser, I don't watch everything but I have a loose understanding of what is going on

Cycling, always an interesting one to me as there are a lot of cool places that you see over a race and the grind and strategy over a long race can be fun.

Now we get to where things blur together

Hockey, if it is a big game I may watch and I enjoy it but I never find the time to watch

Golf, another one where I usually keep some track of the big events but don't watch much(such a hard game though)

Tennis, again if there is a major and it looks to be a good match I may watch. 

Boxing/UFC is another one although I don't care to pay 60 bucks to see something. 

Not a big NASCAR guy but will watch formula 1 rarely

I will never, in my entire life...watch Baseball in any form.  I would literally rather eat my stapler at work, pass it, then re-use it than sit through a baseball game.

I can't decide whether them playing and losing Wednesday makes them more vulnerable or more hungry for the win since losing puts next year's Champion's league spot in jeopardy.

I couldn't agree more, Steve - and should that come to pass, I would only be hoping for the Essendon Bombers to be taking part, as Essendon is my side in the AFL.
