I really think Levine makes it.

Really not sure why so many people are leaving him off.  One of our top ST guys and can play multiple positions if needed.

So I actually almost put him on there. If he made it in the place of Lewis, Brooks, or Elam I can't say id be surprised or upset. Honestly to me the safety battle for roster spots is the most underrated battles of camp.

Yours is close to what I'd have, but I think Kendrick Lewis is a near lock (to many's dismay) and Arrington is almost a sure cut.

I'm curious to see what happens in the Ochi vs. Judon battle.  It sounds like Ochi is squarely winning but we also knew Judon would be a bit of a work in progress.

If Ochi wins the battle, I'm pretty sure Judon will come up with a "knee injury" and they'll stash him on IR. If he's not gonna play this season, I don't think they'll be able to send him to the PS without a team like the Bills or Pats (Ninkovich injury) promoting him. I doubt they try the "John Simon" experiment twice.

I don't remember seeing Ochi at all tonight. I was looking for him. With that said, I didn't get to watch every second of the game, so maybe I missed it. Was he even playing?

I saw exactly one snap....at least I'm pretty sure I did.

He bull rushed his guy straight back and pressured the QB noticeably. Happened at about 3 minute Mark 4th quarter.

On the subject of Judon, to me he clearly looks like he belongs.

I only saw him once. He forced Joe Webb to his right when in the pocket. Didn't see him otherwise though I'm sure I must've missed him.

Beat me to it. Glad that I'm not alone. I agree on all accounts.

I'm really impressed with our new pass rushers. Oh, Ronnie Stanley to my eye was great..stellar.

Could that have been Ochis only snap?

Chris Carter...who was that guy?

Carter is a journeyman PS/ST guy. This is his 5th year in the league.

Yeah, Judon looks good. I really liked what I saw from him. He wasn't spectacular but he was IMO like an upgraded Upshaw who could rush the passer. If only we could take pieces from Judon's game and merge them with Za'Darius', then we would have a complete beast of a player, lol. Za'Darius still needs work setting the edge. He really overpursued early in the game on the first drive and I think the first play and it was very evident and allowed many more yards than it should've.

Ahh, good to know. I was looking for him all night, but I never saw him. I must've missed him when I turned away a few times to do stuff. Oh well. Hopefully I get more chances to see him play here.

First of all, you can't pick up players based only on 1 preseason games. If you wanted to do so, why did you pick Wright at CB and not Price who was better ? Carl Davis played poorly imo. While I really liked Pierce at DT, we need to see more of him and he'll be playing NT so behing Williams. They might wanna take a deeper look at him with Williams contract up in the air. Wesley, I'm not so sure he's ahead of Ducasse even if the FO like him. I don't think they will cut Buck Allen, they might use him more in a Shane Vereen role. I don't see Hurst making the team and I don't think they are ready to cut Camp at WR yet. I don't see Gilmore not making the team as well he showed promises as a 2nd year TE.... he got injured a lot of they'll keep him in case Pitta or Watson aren't durable or effective.

I went through the roster again this morning and I identified 65 players that I think still have at least some semblance of a chance.  That only eliminates 25 bodies from the competition, and some of those guys are injured or suspended.  Going to be some tough decisions this year.

If you had DB Sam Brown as one of your picks to make the roster (and I don't think anyone really did) that apparently will not be the case. The Ravens released Sam Brown on the 17th and signed CB Carrington Byndom. Not that this is Earth shattering news or anything, but I didn't see any mention of this anywhere.

I don't think Pitta is a lock for the roster. His broken finger has now kept him out since August 1st and the Ravens have yet to see him respond to a hit in a game.

Yep.  Hard to give a roster spot to a guy with his injury history without seeing him actually take a snap.

Maybe I'll be wrong about this one.  No problem admitting it if I am, but still feel that Mallett is the guy.

In the bigger picture you are probably right. Tonight however,  Johnson appeared to be the better ( or at least more productive with their time) player.

My thinking on Josh tonight was that I expected him to do that.  I'd be more concerned if he didn't.  He's a 30 year old vet that's been around the block quite a few times.  He should be playing that well against a 3rd string D.  That's not to take anything away from him though because he did play well.

Well a Pitta release would be surprising considering he has looked really good according to most training camp analysts .

Not trying to trash you or the people who work hard on the articles here, but if you are only getting your information from the "analysis" from this site you'd think the Ravens were choc full of Pro Bowlers at every position. Somebody makes ONE play on a 7 vs 7 drill and they act like he's the second coming. Look at all the praise Matt Elam is getting for actually making a tackle. Take what you read here with a grain of salt, and I don't mean that about many of the knowledgeable posters on the forums.

Apparently return man Kaelin Clay was also released a short time ago. If you had him on your final 53, well, back to the drawing board.
