OLD SCHOOL SMASH BALL

Which Draft Pick do you think will be the Biggest Impact Player this season?

I think stanley makes the biggest difference. A good and healthy LT is finally in baltimore, rejoice!

But the biggest splash player i think will be Kenneth dixon.

Biggest impact will be Stanley. Having a stud LT helps the entire oline.

Biggest splash will be Chris Moore. Even if he's catching 15-20 balls this year, most of them will be deep shots. Trestman will get this kid on the field.

Correa will be the guys fans love the most. He'll fit right in with Suggs and Timmy, the swagger he plays with will make fans love him.

Steal of the draft class Kenneth Dixon and Keenan Reynolds. I can't wait to see Trestman using these guy. Both are TD machines and will greatly improve the red zone offense. Reynolds will have an immediate impact as a RS and maybe even push Camp off the roster in the slot.

Stanley will have the biggest impact because he will provide legitimate LT competition and potentially push Monroe out and hopefully provide us a durable force. If not, he plugs in at LG and we have a dominant OL even still and can slide over to LT. He'll impact the run game and he will impact the pass game as a reliable protector for Joe Flacco to keep him from getting hurt. This will give more time for the QB to get the ball to the WR, and hopefully give Joe confidence in sitting back and to let the play develop. Outside of him, I see Dixon benefiting big time and really taking off due to this better OL.

On defense, I'm going with Bronson Kaufusi. I think he's going to terrorize the QB this year as a DE. I can't wait to see what he does. I think he is going to be the guy that everyone hoped Brent Urban would be and I see him as a much better Brent Urban with a higher upside. Not that I think Brent Urban sucks, but he has been injured quite frequently. I also think Tavon Young is going to make his impact felt because I see this kid getting a role early. I know he's a young rookie CB, but he is far along as far as I saw and he has the instincts and speed you want. I like him.

I think Judon and Correa have an impact as rushers, but I don't think they will get a ton of action because I think Suggs and Dumervil and Smith get the most action out there. I think they'll be eased along, but hey, you never know.

Stanley w/o a doubt! We play some stout defenses this yr...our division and the AFC East, even the Jags and Raiders looks more impressive on paper. OL holding up is essential to success. Upright & healthy Joe and our speed receivers having time to run routes. Score points and then unleash our beast DL to slam the door on comebacks or giving up leads.

I'll only talk about day 3 picks because the first 2 days should bring quality playing time players. Stanley will start at Guard or Tackle.... Kaufusi will be a rotational beast and Correa will play a lot of SAM Backer imo.

Tavon Young has been my man all along and you guys know it. He's gonna get at least 4 picks this season I'm telling you! His break on the ball is very very good so he fits a zone schemes perfectly. With all the talent the Ravens added at pass rusher, this defense will make plays.

I think Stanley makes the most impact for the same reasons as everyone else on here. Although I think Correa actually gives us a pretty big upgrade that deserves more chatter. I think he can do everything Upshaw did plus I see him actually being able to develop his pass rush to be superior to upshaws.

Stanley, Kaufausi, Young, Dixon are all day one starters imo. Stanley provides the biggest impact, but all improve the team.

No brainer, it is Stanley. Our line will be Monroe, Stanley, Zuttah, Yanda, and Wagner. Stanley certainly won't be as big of a mauler as KO at LG while he waits to make the slide over to LT, but he has a lot better feet and pass protection abilities. His run blocking is still very good though and we know obtained great balance on both sides of the ball as Zuttah can pass protect and run block very well. Monroe when healthy can do both very well. Yanda is a bull dozer and the best guard in the league and I expect Wagner to return to form where he was the second best pass protecting RT in the league.

I see Correa as being a player that will get a bit of playing time and will make key impact plays from time to time based on his motor and instincts, but he still needs time to develop as a rusher.

Young I believe will be a great nickel back early and depending on any injuries, might hit the starting line up if needed.

My favorite for some reason is Willie Henry though. Even though our Defensive line is getting crowded, especially with Williams, Jernigan, and Davis already there, Henry I think has similar pass rush abilities to Jernigan from the interior, but I feel that he keeps his pad levels low at a more consistent basis and doesn't appear to be gased as much. Henry if utilized on third downs only could be a potent pass rusher from the interior over time. He improved each year at Michigan and is getting better at timing the snap, even though he does get caught in the neutral zone at times. His pad level and quick get off combined with his ability of understanding blocking schemes will lead to sacks, especially since he is very good at twisting his body and getting around interior lineman, I will go out on a limb and say he leads interior D-Lineman in sacks this year with 5.5.

Stanley for sure! I don't love him at guard and I hope he doesn't start there. He is not the scrappy mauler type like a KO or Yanda. His athletism and footwork makes him a very special tackle that can pass block and run block exceptionally well.

I like Kaufausi a lot. Watching his tape compared to DeForest Buckner, I don't see a huge difference. Very simlar exceptional size, athleticism, and power. Buckner had more production, but Kaufausi also concentrated on basketball a lot. But again ,I think Kaufausi looked about as good as Buckner a lot of the time and Buckner got drafted 7th overall. Perfect fit as a 3-4 DE. Put him next to Brandon Williams and Timmy, and it looks good.

I see Dixon as a Day 1 starter and a future 3down RB. He will have a major impact, no doubt.

I'm waiting to see where Ronnie goes into the OL, I'm not sure he would have a Big impact as guard, esp replacing KO.

I hope you right cause we really need those picks. Whenever I see an easy drop by a cb, I flip out. That's why I was cautious with Ramsey.

We never have a good healthy TL for a long time since Joe was a starter. Stanley is my #1 pick for most impact player on offense and Correa is my #2 pick for most impact player for defense cuz he is like a better Paul Kruger.....With Suggs and Dumervil back, our pass rush gonna be a force to be reckoned with....

#51 Correa is going to hit some people but I really hope Ochi makes the team and can have a shot at hitting guys too. So Correa is my pick for drafted players and Ochi is my pick for UDFA's to have an impact.

Tavon Young. Since we play nickel a lot. He's got the manverability to cover the speedy and shifty slot guys and we have been seriously lacking in this area.

Stanley, because he is the guy who can protect Joe's knee and hold off rushers for guys like Perriman to get down the field! IMHO, we should not overlook the importance of what that will mean for this team.

Good point Cobrajet O-line is not a sexy pick but has a definite importance to the team games are won in the trenches.

Correa looks like the first thing he needs to hit is the weights.

I would have to say Stanley because he will give Joe peace of mind. The young pass rushers will be a big help. Keep an eye on Willie Henry, he will be solid in our DL rotation.

I'm excited because maybe we'll get a legit returner in this class. Canady has return production and experience. Reynolds has been working with Brian Mitchell on fielding kicks and punts. Ever since Jacoby fell off the cliff we've been lacking there.

To me Stanley will have the most impact. But a close second will be Willie Henry. I predict he will have a season similar to Timmy Jernigans rookie season. Henry and Kaufusi are the two I'm most excited to watch this year.

I have a gut feeling that either Judon and/or Ochi will be dudes who we talk about in 3 or 4 years as complete steals!

I think the obvious answer is Stanley. Theres an immediate opening to start for him and he was our 1st pick, plus i think hes an obvious and immediate upgrade over any other potential candidate for the LG spot.

But - I think Dixon has a shot to at least contribute on 3rd downs early if not win the RB job outright at some point in the season.

Kaufusi could potentially start at DE. He'll be right in a competition with Urban and Guy. On pure talent/potential he's probably got both beat, but Guy is a steady presence there and Urbans physical potential is off the charts too so thatll be interesting as it develops.

Young is another guy who could carve out an immediate role in the nickel, but i almost hope he doesnt bc that would mean Arrington likely plays well enough to hold him off which ultimately will be a good thing... bc aside from a down year last year hes been among the better nickel backs in the league... so theres that.

Final Answer - Stanley.... but Dixon and Kaufusi are strong potential candidates as well.

I'm impressed with Chris Moore, the "first look" vid on him showed better route running than the tape I saw, and I love his attitude with the ball in the air, he has very reliable hands and he attacks the ball.

I definitely see an early starter in him, I think Ozzie found a gem with this guy and he will surprise us, because at this point he is already quite refined and has a lot of qualities.
