I'm still disappointed they didn't get Noah Spence. Not to say Correa won't be a great pick, he could be a beast, but Spence was literally not only the best edge rusher available, but the best in the draft. The only reason Joey Bosa was more coveted was because he's longer and better in the run game.

Certainly not a glitzy draft. The first three picks are sound and should help. Day 3 we'll have to wait and see. Two big misses in not getting Joe Haeg OT and Scooby Wright ILB.

I would have loved to get Buckner in the first round.

I would to but Eugene Monroe is so unreliable and his back up is awful. Plus we are quit deep on the d line, we've got Kaproon-Lewis Moore, Timmy Jernigan, Brent Urban, Brandon Williams, Lawrence Guy, and Carl Davis. So it wasn't an immediate need, we could've waited to address that position and we did.

I call this draft uneventful- we had a chance to take a stud and we didn't comeout with a stud in the 1st or 2nd because we sent safe and bc Oz loves to trade back- lol

In Ozzie we bust (not trust). Even he and other media outlets have said that our past 5 drafts have NOT been good. If this draft doesn't pan out, then he should leave. Who cares if a kid made a mistake, why are we so infatuated with taking church boys all the time (no offense). We thought Ray Rice was a good kind, but then he ends up giving his girl a right upper cut and then spits on her. This team lacks passion and lacks a leader with true passion. We need emotion and we need to take a chance sometimes- these are kids remember- everyone deserves a chance.

I like the first three picks after that I think they lost their minds. Ravens will for the fourth straight year have problems in their secondary.

i loved the draft, if you looked at it going in with players coming back from injuries, we were deep at WR, Secondary, and our D-line of Jernigan,Williams,Guy and Carl Davis made for nice 4 man rotation, and now we added DT Willie Henry....We will have to dip in to post draft cuts or June 1st Cuts for a proven ILBer......And Stanley was a big time solid pick, as we really can't count on Monroe and Hurst blew chunks....

On balance a very good draft! I was like most forum and BR.com readers disappointed in the first day and second day. Not because they weren't great picks, but because they lacked sizzle. The other reason was losing out on Ramsey despite trying to trade up and then trading down twice in the 2nd deliberately passing on Jack and Spence in the process.

That contributed to the general gloom but on reflection the 3 players we picked are all Ravens like players. Tough, hard nosed football players with great durability.
The third day made up for the lack of excitement with every pick literally except the last which was pretty 'meh' imo.

So, when you look at the big picture an exceptional draft indeed.

The 2010 Raven's draft was given an A by the sports pundits. The fans all cheered. The only one left from that draft is Dennis Pitta. Now you would have to give that draft an F+. There is no way to judge or grade the 2016 draft the day after it is over. Why bother.

Agreed, I would have picked up both of those guys. We will see how they play out compared to our picks but they sure looked strong enough for high consideration. They did pick ILB and OT, just not those 2 guys, so we will get to compare apples. As for the CB, im not sure about the small guy earlier, thats the one I think was the clinker. Im sure he is a good athlete and all that for his size but this is the NFL and at that pick level we needed to get the Corner who would make a difference.
